where can I find some tournament clips of this game ?
Blimey. I just did close to 100 repetitions of that Nanase meteor straight out, and they were all the same visually⦠I tried all distances and whatever, and the only difference I can get is the low one in a combo. Still, if itās confirmed in the Europe/Portugal version, then I can only presume itās in the UK version as wellā¦
you have to do it at a certain distance and you have to time the particular hit by pressing a punch button, just like Sagatās LV3 super with the 3-hit timing notes. distance and timing determines how strong nanaseās super will be.
Can I see a pic of Blair, iāve never seen her beforeā¦
This is from her ending in SFEX+a

Thanks A Bunch!
Still no dice! Iāve even tried initiating the move and then swapping to CPU control⦠Do you mean that you have to press any punch button once, exactly as the staff connects? Apart from the zoom-in, what are the visual signs that it definitely worked? I understand the clouds donāt always change color?
Jester:
I read that thing you sent me, but i lost your email address. Anyway itās good, but the bit about juggles could use a bit more clarification and more diverse examples since that part will interest traditional SF players most.
P.S. Wtf is Fighting Layer??
Jesters computer will be down for a couple days so Iāll try to fill in some the gaps.
Juggling in EX3 is mostly about the time that a person in the air can still be hit. There are some moves like a Yoga Blast that will allow the person to be jugglable til they hit the ground. Others like a crouching roundhouse with Ken, is only jugglable for 5 or so frames (roughly 1/6th of a second). Even still are various moves that are still jugglable after the opponent has hit the ground and is bouncing up again.
Heres a brief example list of moves that are jugglable til the person hits the ground.
Zangief and Daruns 360 moves
Kairiās Meteor
Darun Catch
Kens Shippu Jinrai kyaku canceled
Chun Liās Hazan tenyau kyaku
Ryuās Shin Shoryuken (both big hit and small hit versions)
C.Jacks homerun hero
Most other normal moves keep the person jugglable til they reach the apex of their falling down, or before they complete a full revolution flip (Iād have to record and try out different timings to find out the exact frames that the character is still jugglable).
As for Fighting Layer, its another 2D/3D fighter by Arika that fulfills more of the 3D requirement than the EX series did. IE thereās side stepping, arenas more like SC (minus the ring outs). It was only released in Japan for the arcade. But is currently emulated in zinc and mame if you wanted to give it the old college try. Quite a few of the editable character Aceās moves are from that game like the Fairy Gift, and the Killer Bee Assault. Though Vold is a major pain in the butt lol (youāll see what I mean if you get a chance to play the game).
However since this forum doesnāt have a topic on fighting layer, Iād have to link to the s-c site.

Hey guys, im a new member, as u can tell im a crackerjack fan, how do u rate him?
ā¦
Dude, Cracker Jack is the shiznit. I have never lost with him once. I have a combo that takes 85%-90% of your energy, Usually when I start the combo, the other player just walks away from the arcade machine because they know they can not stop the inevitable, which is their death.
85-90? Is that all? psh
pls culd u give me the combo, and pls take it easy wit the terminology cos im (eeek!) new to street fighter. thanx
errr⦠u seem to hav a better combo, culd u also help me, thanx
but what are the exact strengths and weaknesses of jack, as i said im new, and WHAT connection does he have with Blair Dame?
Iām gonna wait and see his combo first. I also need to know which game youāre talking about as well.
Ex3, (im also getting ex2+@),culd u give me the combos when u hav them?thanx
Hey guys, I know this is a really dumb question but I have to ask itā¦
I can do most of the minor gameplay moves and can do fair combos but nothing to spectacular unless itās the simple merging of super combos.
How do you do reversals and what exactly is a reversal? embarassed occassionally I find myself trying to get the silver and gold medals against Garuda but I just canāt get it.
(Referring to EX3 btw)
Well Iām not gonna wait for any vid, lemme tear open this discussion with a basic EX3 Jack combo.
Jump HK, crouch MP, crouch MK, Dash Straight, Momentary HK, Homerun Hero, standing MK, Batting Hero, Homerun Hero, standing MK, Batting Hero, Homerun Hero, standing MK, Batting Hero, Momentary HK.
And yes, thats a BASIC EX3 Jack combo. Oh hey Shinji, Iām back.
Thanx man, iāll get to work on it, lol
