Anyway, I think its time for me to make a Combo FAQ on EX3. I know Gamefaqs has one, but that doesn’t seem updated and it looks like “master akuma” basic combos. I will submit it once I have at least one combo per character.
If you like, you can contribute and will be credited on the FAQ. But, the combos must be the following:
-No more than one tag combos. Unless, it is possible to second tag on a real match like one of Darun’s combos. I’m mainly posting possible on matches combos. Well, even if its on the FAQ, I think it’ll be hard to hit that Sakura/Nanaes one.
-Juggles off.
-No “Jump In to Super” combos.
So here’s what I have so far.

A bit tough to do, but does lots of damage. Its another one of those 4 Super Bar ones where if you juggle them enough times during a combo, you can get one more extra super. And yeah, juggle was turned off.

Shin Bison start:
J.HK, c.mp, c.hp, hk,scissor knee, tag, c.lk, c.mk, c.hk
next person:
c.lp -> combo
Idea is, is that if perfectly timed you can combo off of a c.hk attack (you have like 10 frames to get the next attack to hit, but its possible, (only via a tag) and with Shin Bison being able to link his c.lk to his c.mk to his c.hk, the tagged in partner just may be quick enough to get in an attack during that 10 frame space. Which may be enough for Darun to get his juggle going.
Or you could go with a meaty surprise blow like with D. Dark
super meaty SB, c.mk, dark wire, dark hold, c.lp, dark wire, hp momentary, Death Blade supercancel, exprominence, etc…
I suppose Ken offers huge possibilities. I do
j.HP, c.MK (tag) c.MK XX HK hurricane. This gives the partner a full second or two to start their stuff. You can even add in a Ken super when he lands if you have meter.
Obviously some characters can c.MP (tag) HP XX SB. There’s lots of stuff on pages 39-43.
I’d also love to see some combos ending with Gief’s jumping slam super…
Thanks for that one. But you could add c.MP after the j.HP. Also throw a HP Hadouken before the tag.

Jester, I’ve been playing a little SFEX3 lately and I wanted to ask, what’s the link to some of those videos (I’ve never seen any). Normally I would just look through these pages, but I’m getting a lot of “server busy” messages so if you could post a link, I’d appreciate it.

I’m having trouble canceling to a Double Somersault Kick after the 5th Hit on the Opening Gambit.
And can Bison Momentary Cancel Fierce after Forward Knee Press?
You can add another Opening Gambit at the end of that first combo.
As for Bison, he can only cancel the second hit of any Knee Press, that includes momentarys, supers, tags, and CPs.
Hmm, pretty tough. I take it you cancel into that after the first hit of the Double Somersault.
Any video on that? And I just have v.1 of the FAQ done and might submit it tommorrow.

Its possible but heres how I would do that combo:
Nanasae Jump HP, crouch MP, QCF+LP, F+LP, Momentary LP, Tag, crouch MP, QCF+LP, F+LP, Jack jump HK, crouch MP, crouch MK, Dash Straight, Momentary HK, Homerun Hero, standing MK, Batting Hero, Homerun Hero, standing MK, Batting Hero, Homerun Hero, standing MK, Batting Hero, Momentary HK
In Practice mode you can Tag before the last set of standing MK, Batting Hero, Homerun Hero to continue the combo, so after the last Homerun Hero Nanasae could do standing HK, QCFx2+P as they land, then cancel into her others supers or delay the second super QCBx2+P and go into a few fancy juggles.
