Well since it really isn’t any tournaments it doesn’t really matter. And typically speaking, by the time you “save” up 3 bars, you’d be into the 2nd round anyway. So basically if you can win the first round without using any meter, and use the 2nd round to combo someone to death, then 3 out of 5 could help level it out. Meanwhile if you lost the first round combo the 2nd round, you’d be out of meter in the 3rd round and likely lose anyway as the person that won the first round would combo you to death. Basically whoever wins first while conserving meter would win the set. That’s where meter management comes into play. And probably why most a-cho videos and spookie videos are only 1 super bar excels. And don’t blow their load all at once.
Copped a Japanese copy of EX3 a week ago, Can’t play it yet as the drive on my PS2 slim stopped spinning the discs, And I don’t have a slide card for my phat.
I had it running from USB with free mcboot but it takes a while to start up and the songs stop playing mid match, lol.
Just need a copy of EX2+ and I’ll have original copies of all three.
IIRC, there are plenty of excels that gave you very good meter after the excel itself finished, 1 bar in some cases @ShinjiGohan
Then we’d be seeing 1 bar infinites and that’s not the case. Well except for chunli’s lightning kick infinite but that has nothing to do with excels. Just about everything else are character specific juggles.
It would be easier to just play EX3.

Yeah I really wish they implemented a 1v1 mode even just for 2 player.

I consider EX3 as a very different game from the previous 2 (not a bad thing, ofc).

you don’t need a code for that. Goto Team Battle, have each player select the size of their team as 1 and go at it. It’ll be basically 1 round 1v1 but its there,

Hmm, well I’m happy I was somewhat close with my tier list. Of course some things will be wrong since I’m only one person. I’m happy Gief and Darun are good. I like them alot in this game. I hate that Ken is the worst shoto. I love Allen though he is so sick.
A lot of EX3 matches. They are very good, so for anyone that wants to see how the game is played at a decent level, this is pretty good.

They tag in and out so much, even before the recoverable health is filled back up. Do you lose whatever recoverable health is not regained once you tag the damaged partner back in? If so these guys are wasting a shit load of possible life in these matches.
Yeah, and not to mention a lack of a neutral and singles game. Their execution is top notchbut against someone that’s defensive they might have some problems. Or maybe not, perhaps their overwhelming offense will do the job regardless of throwing away red life.
Acually player 1 was doing decent poke game and knew how to confirm, player 1 sagat was the MVP o fthat match with is no surprise when you consider every in their was rushdown characters. D.D was fram traping, Sharon doing several cancel, and Bison pycho cannon oki seem impressive but i’m not sure what he really get out of it in the end.
I know this has been asked before, but does anyone have a save state for EX2+ with all the characters unlocked? I have some cheat, but it doesn’t enable the characters unlock, I’d just have to choose them through the cheat menu which is simply ridiculous.
you can’t use the cheat and then make a save state from that? Otherwise, I probably doubt it. Who would have left an emulator on for 2 months or whatever straight just to make a save state with the characters unlocked?
So broken how chun li and kairi can get infinites off of a poke, without any meter too.
