Hey I’am a big fan of the SFEX series but I can hardly seem to find any servers or players who want to play on kaillera via cyberpad 1.3 epsxe 1.5.2. If any of you guys play do let me know what server/ip and time your’ll come online. I play SFEXplusA and SFEX2plus.
NOW I am playing sf4 pc, Go to chanwa1522 youtube channel, he and his friends play sf ex series, they use epsxe 1.60, kaillera server, hamachi(chat) and a riped iso room.
hey i tried it but the hamachi server that is ex2p is full…you know of any other servers?
you probably need to beg chanwa to be worthy enough to join his channel.
Blocks on everyone that is actually legit at EX.
Infinite meter or gtfo!
Sure, when Cole came to NYC I played him and it showed how little actual matchup exp I had since I was losing to shit that I wouldn’t’ve lost to in RS1. lol That also saves me from needing to bring a DC.
no runbacks
Dunno… vvvvv
Looks like you were fine against his Gief. =p Not saying it was good or anything. >_> But yeah you’ll have fun fighting my Gief. You’ll actually have to deal with anti-poke Super Stomping and real combos!!!
I seriously dunno about runnin Guile again tho. lol I only got away with that shit because we were all rusty.
That was totally not my idea to begin with, you know that was Deadly Rave trying to take revenge on me. Then I just started catching on it. =|
I was just playing Sagat for kicks BTW, was trying to give him a run since AceKombat seems to love him a lot and I already knew his bnb. I don’t think I would have won that if momosan was playing Gief.
Ah. lol Yeah Sagat is pretty lacking for AA other than jab TU and s.HK IIRC. I’m more mad he got away with some of the shit he did, especially since he never did lariat on any of your jumpins. =/ But yeah we’ll see what happens at FR. I really hope more ppl play this time, I did plant some seeds in NYC by actually not losing instantly in it.
His DP trades way too often too. It feels like Alpha 1 level of suckage, even when using the HP version. I don’t understand it.
I’m guessing its like Garuda’s DP in that the invul frames are more lower and his DP has slower startup than Ryu/Ken’s. Because I had to delay my execution, for example when Momo’s Gief jumped on my Garuda with the DP. Too early and body splash actually hit me out of it.
at the request of someone from peru I uploaded a video on how to turn off the lifebars and timer in EX3. At least thats what I think he was asking.
they should definitely make another street fighter ex soon

I never played 3 that much and I’ve been going back and reading the thread a bit, curious what is it about 3 that makes some people prefer 2 over it other than maaybe loss of Excel?
Pretty easy to say that, its our specific tastes in SF games. I could go on with details on why I perfer EX3 but those are just my opinions and preferences.
More Blanka safe-jump setups in EX2+ .
Would be interested in hearing those
well ok then, I feel that SFEX2P is
a) a darker game (darker stages and I dislike that)
b) graphics are worse than in EX2
c)excels potentially ruin the game (I normally dislike custom combos in games anyway but the potiental for 100% combos that beat out anything I try is too much)
beyond that EX3 feels more like my type of game
a)pretty basic but with enough extra stuff thrown in to not make it boring (tagging and momentaries)
b)lighter game (background stages) that brought back the individual soundtracks (sakura’s and chunlis come to mind)
I recently finally bought both SFEX+a and SFEX2+ for PS1. EX+a is actually the Japanese version. So far I really like SFEX2+, very solid game.
Lord_Raptor - SFEX3 has smoother and more detailed graphics, as you would expect, and still has a form of CC, but the main difference is simply that it is a tag game. You play the main mode against other people (or the CPU) using teams, which introduces new meter management and combo possibilities. If you’re just messing around, there’s also the 4-character dramatic battle option, and multitap support.
Have you thought of uploading a very short combo/match video for Hokuto on a PS3? An emulation bug shows her off without a skirt…
