Dont Mess it with CvS, MvC, SF3 and so on Cause its Different! and You have to Spend Time On it (after some Weeks of Playin, Believe me you will Love it!). When i started to Play it, i thought too alpha2 is Better, but after One Month of Playin, u understand why SFA3 as so Many Changes (New Ism System, Changed CombosSystem and so on) AS A Sequel and u Learn to love it (Some Reasons why Alpa3 is my Fav 2D):

A3 has Much much more Combo-Posibilitys then Alpha2(means the Gamephysics, gives Much more Room for Combos, If you dont Play Sfa1-2-3 then Look at the Combo Video Of the SF-Team: “Day of Past Present” and u Will Understand Alittle the Changes on the Combo System) But dont Think the Combos Are easy! When u see it on The Video.

The 3 Gameplay Options (Ism’s) Makes The Game Very Variable, You got all Characters in 3 Different Ways. And the Ism’s Are Good Balanced, SO SFA3 Lets much much ROOM for Taktic. its Exiting to tryout All Char With All ism’s
A ism (With 3 Level Super Bar, Alpha Counters, Airblocks, 3 Different Superspecails, Midlong-BlockBar, Highsuperdamage, Normalhitdamage)
V ism (With Timebar for Custum Combos, Alpha Counters, Airblocks, no Superspecials, Short Blockbar, Normalhitdamage)
X ism (With 1 Level Super Bar, quiker Charging then Aism, no Airblocks, no Alphacounter, 1 Superspecial, Longblockbar, Highhitdamage)

The Characters Are Overall Good Balanced, and There are No Chars, Who Own all Others. I Played and Watched Hunderds of Matches Online and Believe me The Good Balance makes the Game very very Exiting. Cause you never know, there some Player, who can Beat you with Birdie!.

The Game is Hard to Own (and that makes it Interesting!), but for my Opinion the Learning Level is Good, Cause Even after Months u Learn new Tactics and Combos. Many Tactics and Combos are So hard learn, that u will never get it, and thats a reason too for alpha3. U grow up with the game. Many Times i Thought i Own the Game, but Again again, i had to learn, that (because off the Different Isms and the Good Char Balance),
there are Many many Succesfull Tactics in the game. -
It makes Most fun, (even my Friends, who dont know Anything of 2d Beatemups, love Alpha3 since they played it, and they Prefer it)
For All People who Say Alpha3 Sucks (or Say Alpha2 is better , without Playin Alpha 3 much long ) try it really out. The best is Playin Online on kailleria (The Most Played games onilne are: SFA3 and MvC, so u will always find a Partner).
