Also, it seems someone out there like my mods enough to make their own videos!
Check these out.
SF4 Meet the Scout:
TF2 - Super Dynamic 2Fort (NOT MY GIEF):
Added to the SF4 mod wiki. Great job!
Thereâs another SF cartoon episode with quite a few amusing Bison quotes: âThe Warrior Kingâ (incidentally the animation in that episode is so inconsistant itâs hilarious!)
Thanks! I might have more by Friday.
how did you guys get your sound clips to sound so well? iâve tried modding the âselect playerâ music so it plays the one from SF3: third strike but the vocals sound so distorted. the wav file sounds fine, and its at 48khz. could anyone tell me what iâm doing wrong? iâve uploaded the modded file:

(sorry to bump âoldâ thread)âŚ
PS. that Heavy mod is awesomeâŚ
Anyone notice the game crashes if you try to mod Ken or Guileâs voices?
We desperately need a Boxer mod that changes his audio to say âDEY SPINNIN DEY SPINNAAAAN!!!â when he completes the last hit of his ultra.
has anyone done a Sagat mod to use his CvS2 voice? i like those the best out of any for him.
1 - can you be more specific about the âinvalid somethingâ?
2 - have you gone over my sound modding tutorial at the first post?
Announcer modding - almost there!
Just received a prototype from Goshanes of his new SF4 Audio Manager (the upgrade from CSB packer), now with CPK support.
I thought it would be nice to extract the wavs from the announcer to let you guys start thinking about announcer mods before the tool is finalized, and so I did;)
Here are the links for the English and Japanese narration files:
- BTL_NAR_E.cpk => http://www.megaupload.com/?d=1EQ0UH50
- BTL_NAR_J.cpk => http://www.megaupload.com/?d=DSXOJ948
Notice that the announcer has voices for T. Hawk and Dee Jay, so I guess these two were already being aimed for SF4, but got cut out, or were to be added via DLC.
PS: I hope this isnât a repost of the wavs.
re narrator - i highly doubt weâll be seeing many (if any) alpha 3 narrator mods
awesomeness would be the narrators from the capcom vs games (especially msh vs sf). âARE YOU READY FOR A NEW CHALLENGER?!?!?â
I LOVE the Alpha 3 narrator.
IT ALL DEPENDS ON YOUR SKILL! FAITH AND STRENGTH!!!
Yup, 48KHz mono, same as the original file, just like it says in the video. Try it.
Great;) Happy modding;)
Hi there,
thx for this thread and tools released around here.
i gave a try at modding the announcer according to what was done here.
I replaced a dozen files, having some SFIII voice files (quite hard to find a complete collection, especially a quality one, still missing pieces) and it worked⌠in a way.
The announcer replacement went just fine, but it seemed to screw up other sounds, mostly âspawningâ a neverending sound after each time a move like Kikoken or other specials are used, sound wearing off at the end of the current round.
I noticed that this archive does not end up fully extracted with the provided tool (no numbers or screen available right here) with a difference like 2 or 3 files missing from the fully extracted content.
Any clue? Anyone having a successful test regarding this?
(Iâll edit this later and add some details)
Hi Redvex;)
The current CSB packer does not support announcer mods correctly. The new version of it, SF4 Audio Manager, will correct this problem. Iâve had access to a beta preview and I can say that itâs looking good;)
Stay tuned;)
Iâve updated my Demoman Sagat voice mod. The two win quotes and one of the taunts I think, they should sync better now. Itâs a minor update but it was needed.
