This is really strange… The other wavs have been re-encoded (they differ from the originals internally). Somewhere in your process the wavs are being altered. Did you follow my tutorial step-by-step?
EDIT: Just confirmed that my method is ok. My Ryu mod preserves the original wavs that are not meant to be changed. Something is different in your process…
if i didnt folow it i dont think sounds would of been added at all right ? lol it should either Work or NOT work and in my case its (not working correctly) wich to me is worst then not working at all because i cant find the prob lol
replacing sounds is all we need to do
and theres nothign to be altering a process when i am only moding 1 or 2 files and all others get changed when i didnt even tuch them… its because of the moded 1.
change 1 of akuma’s random sounds then do a taunt (01 taunt) and comfirm me there isnt treble gritching “easyer to hear it from taunts/Ultras… when he talks befor a ultra/supers… the word he say after alsow sounds from HP etc etc all get altered. can someone make 1 test akuma sound mod " no matter what the sounds are or is” and post a download for a test ? i will download this and try it out and see if i have that problem because i obviously have no problems in my pc
am saying akuma for testing purpose as the problem happens to hall characters!
its newly formated and everything is new including the sound card so i really dont understand oh and btw no matter what i used to convert sound files to wav, i get same results including audacity.
is this thing a bitrate problem or anything related to this ?
This isn’t a problem with the new wavs, or I wouldn’t been able to do a Ryu mod that is ok, and neither would AceKombat, for that matter.
I will try to redo your Akuma mod, with those two mod wav files, and see if the problem persists. If it doesn’t, then something must be wrong with your process.
EDIT: Done. Just managed to replicate your situation. I think the problem you had was with the ADXUTIL, because it re-encoded the original wav files with different settings. Not sure yet how to control that, so just encode the new wavs to AAX (AND ONLY THE NEW ONES), and then overwrite ONLY those AAXs. The original AAXs remain unchanged this way, and you can pack all of them inside the CSB.

this issue is now in my “problem solved” black book
repacking ONLY the edited sounds back to aax did not alter ANY of the other sound’s hz’s
i didnt have that problem befor when i did my mods

I just finished a Francis mod (L4D) for Abel’s voice overs. It replaces the ENG audio, so set him to that in the sound options to use it. I hope you like it!
Also, I’ll post the actual changes here for anyone interested, though it’s also available in the included text file.
EDIT: Soundpack done and uploaded to my mediafire page (http://www.mediafire.com/BioGenx2b). EDIT v1.1: See changelog in the quoted text.
I’m going to be working on a Scout soundpack for RIC in a few hours. It should be finished in the wee hours of the morning. If you liked the quality of my Francis voice pack, look forward to it!
I’ve begun uploading fraps recordings of my JHA and RIC voice mods, for those of you who want to see more of what it’s all about.
Part 6 is me playing El Fuerte, and finally kicking Abel’s fucking teeth in (I hate you, CPU).

Every video is completely frapsed with in-game content. The music there is my Tekken 5 music mod, available for download at my mediafire page. I’m glad you like it!
That’s awesome! The only thing left to do there would be edit the model and add in a real cap, and make the frying pan into a baseball bat (and somehow find a way to remove the mask?).
Nice work! My Heavy voicepack will be available soon, by the way.
well i can try to edit the cap, i think i can erase the mask by editing the specularity maps and the pan, well we’ll see. I can’t wait for the heavy voice, if its as good as the scouts, it will be boss.
Hi everyone, I did a small “voice” mod for SF4, it disable the annoying Announcer **BUT **it keeps the menu and character selection sound effects. Give it a try !
Put this file in your street fighter iv directory\game\sound\ and don’t forget to backup the older SELLVS_SE.CSB
Edit : the announcer keep saying stuff like “Let’s Pick Up the Pace!” “KO” “Perfect” “Time over!” “Draw Game” and “Double KO” like the previous trick by PimpUigi, but with this mod, you’ll keep the menu sound effects.
