Difference of opinion. It’s fine if you like the new art, I mean if it appeals to absolutely nobody then there’s a serious problem. I don’t like it, personally. I mean don’t get me wrong, they all look professionally done and all and Stan Lau is a fantastic artist, but they still look very weird to me. The poses look either generic or unnatural, especially when compared to the original 3rd Strike artwork. There’s no personality in any of the new artwork.
It’s called a “loincloth”, and loincloths are manly as shit, son. You will take your beatings. 8|
Online Edition allows us to finally see the hidden subliminal message that is a code to unlock Shin Akuma. Now we have a 5th shoto to whore out online.
I don’t really care much about the hud change and sa bar size changes and shit like that. But it also occurred to me (maybe it’s been discussed before) that what if it slightly throws off my game because I’m so used to the old ones. For example, say I’m playing as Ryu and I think my next hit will get me the meter for ex, so I’m throw out a crouching mk xx to what I thought would be an ex fireball…whoops…old regular ass fireball and now I get punished. Same with the life bars. Now I haven’t taken a really good look at the life bars and super bars so please correct me if I’m wrong in thinking that they look much bigger (or smaller in whatever case) and could be deceptive.
HAHAAH dude looking at the OE screenshot I can see that so easily. Except the イ is really fucked. The rest though really does look like it.
The hilarious thing is im pretty sure the original greeking was meant to look like english. either that or some weird all katakana japanese gibberish. japanese and english look totally different when viewed as like a whole block of text and it definitely looks english (or again like all katakana/hiragana)
this seems relevant.
