The HUD font looks like something I could use to tell the name of my character while I’m playing and it’s in a nice resolution. It’s in English too which helps.

on a related topic how many flowchart ken/ryu/akuma’s do you guys thing will drop 3s after a week once they realize “hadou jump away shoryu” doesn’t work in this game? Or how many scrub yuns are gonna drop the game once they realize genie jin combos actually take skill in 3s?

In my experience, genei jin combos aren’t hard in either game. Maybe that’s just me. It’s deciding the best way to end them that’s always tricky for me. I start thinking about it way too late into the combo. Then again I don’t really play Yun much.

It’s hella different than the old greeking they did down there. Whatever filter they used on the backdrop or whatever the fuck they did to that really made that stuff look super wonky. It goes from looking like english greeking to just alien script.

New art is ew. Give me an option to use the old art in the bubbles please. I’m already bummed that I might have to see it every time I start the game.

New HUD little character pics don’t change color to match the outfits. Probably a result of using the rescanned art there instead of pixelated versions of that art.

Makoto’s new art shows more of her back than her front. Her art is a really goofy stance.

Thats all I ask if possible. Other than that I commend Capcom for everything they did in the game. Just please bring back the original art.

The only thing I noticed that’s really funny about the HUD is that it makes the super bars weird sizes. Like Chun Li’s SA2 bars are strangely small now and shit like that. I’m not a man of details to care like that but it’s noticeable.
