Street Fighter 3 NG & 2I Thread

I have to test this first.

Ah, this is absolute nonsense. The priority is high, but a well timed DP beats it clean. This is especially true if the DPer is still on the ground. Ken’s HP DP seems to beat it at any point where attack frames are active.

I actually agree with this man. One button throwing has always felt more solid to me, it’s more street fighter like, is easier to do while simoultaneously demanding more accuracy from your position and your ticks, and does all this while offering a potential penalty for screwing up. One thing that still makes ST > 3s slightly for me.

Man reading all this really makes me want to try 2I. When I go up to CTF next time Ill play around in the 2I cabinet for sure. One button throws alone make me happy. :lovin:

Oh he’s just an Akuma fanboy then…

whew

I thought maybe he was 100% invincible and when you parried the divekick he Akuma would reset to neutral on the ground in 1 frame or something?

So when are we gonna stop talking about 2I and start playing?(online and record the matches online)

shin sho>dive kick

Im up for a game, even though I’m pretty sucky. Theres always room for improvement.

I meant you guys not me! o///o

my Pc is pretty crappy so I don’t think I can run sf3.2I can you PM the info and stuff?

^IF your PC cane run MAME, then it SHOULD be able to run these games.
BTW I wanted to ask:
What button gives you pink-ish Ryu in 2I (and if possible in NG)?

http://www.zytor.com/~johannax/jigsaw/sf/games.html

It’s forward in 2I.

You’re incorrect.

I aint got shit but 512 ram, and my PC can run 2I, but I do have 3.3 ghz processor.

THat might be it.

Running MAME is all about CPU power.

In PC terminology how is power measured?

You have a 3.3 GHz processor, and that’s pretty powerful.

oh alright, I got you

Anybody with a processor from the last 4 years should be able to run this fine, as I can run it on a P3 1GHz (although it’s not as smooth as it should be).

soooooooooooo I can get the “stuff” needed for this be-otch if ya know what I be sayin?

also is this for GGPO? if not what games are?

Alpha 2 and MVC

So Ryu is supposed to be better than his 3S version in 2I, right? Apart from being able to stock two Denjins and his two-hit HP shoryu on the ground, what else does he have that isn’t in 3S? I still can’t grasp THAT much of a difference…

Yun and Yang can link 3 c.mp’s together :looney:

Its funny that this game is way more balanced then 3s. Man, Capcom can really suck sometimes.
