There are many displays with component that doesnt lag. Especially the plasma ones. Were having a tough time in Brazil with displays but most of them are component.
I can see that only the Matrox can use HDMI for outside but I`m not sure how can we add external comment with a mixer then, only through software I guess, but I guess that can be done. Either way, its way too expensive for me.
I own the PC and PS3 Version of SSF4 AE so i decided to record some matches to get some analysis going (PC).
I downloaded a free trial of Camtasia Studio (and Fraps and i tried VLC) and tried to record a replay (record from desktop).
Problem is :
The recorded video is dropping frames like mad and it goes black on some frames once in a while (btw. XSplit is doing the same if i don“t use windowed mode).
I tried to record with Vsnyc on/off and windowed mode on/off.
Obvious problem:
1)The recording tool is not able to keep up with the frames being displayed (this shouldn“t happen though cause the game is running at 60 FPS)
2)The game is not running at 60 FPS but much faster which will lead to frame drops with the recording software.
Thatās really awesome. I remember when I was testing the Hauppauge HD PVR, I had to screencap from the packaged software. My brother is interested in testing it out again. So I just download the Directshow codec and it shows up as a working capture source in Wirecast?
I got a question for some of you: Why in the fuck would you drop top dollar on a high end hd capture device and a monster laptop, then buy Behringer audio gear? Itās buying a tailored Armani and wearing goddamned floppy red clown shoes with it.
Probably because it a consumer-grade solution that works and most of people watching streams and videos arenāt audiophiles, they wonāt be able to tell. Getting Audio from a mixer doesnāt have nearly as many bottlenecks as getting video from a capture device. So getting clear audio doesnāt require as much effort and pc power as getting clear video.
Also word of mouth from forums and guides , more often than not, recommend the 502/802 because it has just what you need at a affordable price point. Iām sure people are more that willing to use other mixers if it is at the same price, has everything they need and performs as well as the behringer.
And by high end hd capture device are you strictly talking on the consumer level of products?
Consumer, prosumer, high end, Iāve seen Behringer gear hooked up to it all.
Iām simply on a mission to end Behringer as a company. Iām tired of seeing nice ass home studios with Behringer monitors, cherry as fuck vintage guitars played through Behringer cabs, etc.
The shit is cheap and flimsy as fuck, generally rips off someone elseās design, and sounds like a chorus of five asses.
I guess if youāre broke and all you really want from your sound is ācan people hear thisā is why people keep buying this garbage,
I STILL canāt figure out how to get Wirecast to record my computers speakers on Windows 7⦠Apparently W7 doesnāt support stereo mix and I canāt find any drivers to download it. As far as I know, my sound card just doesnāt support it. Iāve tried using Virtual Audio Cable, but anytime I try to select any kind of audio device through VAC as an input, VAC just crashes and my computer freezes⦠I have NO idea what to do, sigh. Iāve been using Xsplit, but itās buggy as hell and it doesnāt have the fancy overlays that Wirecast has. Does ANYONE know a fix for this? Pleeeeeease.
What sound card do you have? Usually in W7 when you go to sound recording devices and right click and select āShow disable devicesā it should show up.
Also which wirecast version do you have? I believe that in version 3 it should show up after it you enable it. On version 4 it should be available to add after you enable it.
If it still doesnāt show up, the program I suggested earlier comes with a program that works like VAC. When you install the live_setup115g_en.exe it will install a audio source called āAmaRec Core Audio Captureā and that will be a stereo mix.
For xsplit you recreate just about every shot that you can do in wirecast since you can import the overlays from the wirecast graphics folder.
OK, I tried to get my SNES via S-Video and RCA into my Avermedia HD DVR last night and the card just didnāt like it. I might have been doing something wrong. However, It did work perfectly on my Hauppauge HVR 1600, which was very happy and produced pretty good results. I have a spare HVR 1600 and somewhere I should still have some PVR 150s (which use the same SD Capture chip) so if youāre looking to take in some classic Nintendo goodness and have a HD DVR, PM me and Iāll sell you one for cheap money.
to get stereo mix on windows 7 all you have to do is right click on the speaker icon and go to recording devices, once you do that right click and show disabled devices this is how i got it to work for my setup
