X-factor comes in three different levels depending on how many characters you have left. The 3rd level is triggered when you have one character left and lasts significantly longer than if you have all 3 characters.
Call Trish assist w/ peek-a-boo, walk forward into it, while calling Modok assist. Sandwich yourself with you standing in the front half of Peek-a-boo, w/ aegis in front. Now, let the monologue rip. Teleporters can’t teleport behind or above because of peek-a-boo, in front the shield forces jumps and blocks projectiles. Not foolproof, but IMO most people won’t expect a Thor meter whore team.
First of all, IF you try to pull a tactic like this mega-taunt AGAINST a character like Iron-Man WHILE he has meter and WITHOUT locking him down, you deserve to get blasted. Second, if worse came to worse, and you anticipated the PC (which you should), hitting Thornado would protect Thor.
All I’m saying is that UltraDavid has the right idea - use it when you kill a character, grab a good bit of meter. In a game with so many projectiles, I suspect it’ll be otherwise limited except against a very select few characters (Ryu, mostly, but that’s Ryu).
Pretty sure you’ll be able to interrupt your own taunt to block or move out of the way of something. So even if someone like Iron Man does bust out the Proton Cannon you can just block?
We don’t now but Felicia can cancel out of her charge taunt as well. So cancel, block if fast enough. Don’t know the speed and won’t till we get our greasey fingers on him for us to go to the lab with.
