I’m assuming the worst right now, and expecting it to stop everything. :sad: If it doesn’t then I’ll be pleasantly surprised. Only thing I’ve seen ignore the shield is Arthur’s axe projectile.

It’s probably safe to assume that flight mode is hcb-E and the hyper grab is hcb-any two
That’s all correct, except flight mode is qcb+E. I can’t wait to try out grab resets using flight mode!
You mean torch? I’m pretty sure in his first match vid the axe gets stopped. I would be immensely surprised if Mighty Spark could make it through.
don’t want him yelling “mighty ___” throughout a match. I like his character trailer when he was saying cool Thor stuff like “feel thor’s might” or “feel the power of asgard”…or “mjolnir!” for his projectile

About how close does Thor need to be to land his command throw hyper? Any chance of using it as a DHC opportunity?
In the TGS build, grab super had better range than special grab (about the range of his 5A jab). You can DHC into the grab super for un-jumpable setups as long as the opponent is standing/crouching and not in blockstun. You can also DHC during the grab super’s cinematic animations after it has connected.
Thor definitely needs a Beta Ray Bill alt for DLC.
One of his alt colors is close to Beta’s design. Beta’s armor and dark tonned like him.

Oh there was a good thor in the stream? Good to know, maybe he isn’t as bad as people make him out to be.
Yeah, guy used mighty spark to trick them into jumping, delay release bam, then trip, one of his low moves and bam combo and hammer spin is good way to stop aerial approach. Then air combo into thornado or when opponent recovering from hammer spin used mighty shockwave.
Yeah, looking at the darkest one made me want Beta, I guess we’ll have to do with the tribute.
Damn, hope someone uploads the stream on youtube, would love to see some gameplay of thor not sucking.
So… a bunch of people in the stream chat have been saying that Keits came on the mic and said that Thor had been “fixed” in a few ways that made him a lot better. I missed the actual incident in question, but this is what I’m being told. Anyone have more info?
Thor doesn’t really fit with my current team of Haggar/Spencer/??? very well. Having too many heavies isn’t a good thing. I’m just deciding on the right rushdown or zoning character now. I’m waiting to see if Akuma is legit. I want to see his trailer before deciding.
