You forgot about Sakura. It really dont matter whether a guy uses a top tier team or not. And what gives you the impresion that Geese, and Vega are top tier there only upper mid, Cammy is starting to drift away from top too because alot of her shit is played out and extreamly punishable. As for K-groove that groove is decent, but has alot less going for it compared to A and C(Yes A is the best and C is second) N is third in the mix then after that it’s up to you. I’ve seen alot of people use there hatred for top tier as an excuse for always losing. If those kinda players wanna win then they should just stop bitching and do what they need to do. And they say Top tier isnt fun. That BS because I use A-Sak, A-Bison, Vega, Geese, Cammy and Sagat. Sak is fun because you can mixup and combo all day. Bison is fun because you can tick and throw all day not to mention setting up CCs from anywhere. Vega and Geese arent top but there close. Geese is fun because you can put so much fuckin pressure on a character with him and those counters can make someone feel really stupid afterwards and this causes them to make mistakes. Vega owns cause he annoys people into making mistakes. Cammy can mixup to throw and can also piss the opponent off into making mistakes and I find Sagat fun because I love the feeling I get when I dominate someone to the point where they cant do shit. I dont see how losing with low tier characters while using bullshit tactics that dont work is fun. The only mid tier character I use is A-ken, but even he is ranked upper mid tier with Vega and Geese. And Sunnyvale or Milpitas arent that hot compared to some other spots in Cali.
Other than That I would have to agree with you on everything. We dont even have an MvC player who knows any Cable unblockables(no not that gaurdbreak shit when they come out, thats basic shit.) We dont have any CvS players that can abuse RC. We dont have any players that can do a single CvS2 one combo victory(like me.) :encore: Our players think they’re special and can pioneer things. Yeah right. And they either only know combos or strategy, but NEVER EVER both. And there are whole bunch of other things on top of that piss me off about Stockton players. Plus we dont even have a decent arcade to play games at. I was at Whimsy today and on the good side I couldnt do basic combos or even get out a super at certain times when I want it. And I’m not at SGL or NN’s enough to play people at my personal best. Damn! When I get a car Imma’ drive everywhere so I can play CvS2 on some perfect pads on a good cabinet where i can get some damn room and play some people who dont win because they’re scrubby with just sheer randomness. Sure there are some pretty good CvS2 players in Stockton, but even they have that edge of completely scrubby randomness to them.
Ok people if ANYONE wants to meet up and play some games that would pwn, If your from outta town then that would be even better. I hear Sacramento is nothing but good comp so if your from Sac and you see this invitation then feel free to come on down. Or if you wanna come down from wherever that would be kool too. I just want some comp over here. I wanna see how I can do against players who dont reek of randomness and maybe learn something new. Stockton sucks now lets make the good players come to us. Snake, Sunnyvale and Milpitas are about even with the best parts of the state…if not better. If you want to play, I’ll drive up there again. It’d take a while now that school started for me. Let me know if you’re interested. Have 'em fix SGL’s CVS2 machine, or maybe NN.

K is a pretty good groove, but it’s damn overrated by the Stockton players because some of our “best” players use it and think it’s hot shit and that it’s the best in the game, but last time I checked the tourny winning grooves were A, C and N. A few people even did better with P and S than some people did with K. If you want we to explain more then I would be more than happy to, but I dont feel like typing as of now.
Well I always heard that L.A. and San Jose were the best by far(in terms of west coast). And alot of people say that Sacramento is better too. And I know alot of Sunny Vale being good at shit, but I never hear much of Milpitas. Doesnt matter though because at least it isnt’ stockton. If you want to play some games then anytime is fine as long as it isnt on a weekend. I dont know when I got some time to play some games, because I havent seen RE2 or Ghost in the shell 2 yet.:bluu: I hope we can play soon, but I’ll probably be busy all of this week. well I never ever saw anything wrong with the team, but coming from Phong I thought there was something thats was wrong with it that I couldnt catch. I know that Mag and Psylocke are great together and all, but a third person is really important, because IMO Psylocke cant fight asgood as Mag, Storm, Sent, Cable, etc. And I really cant help but listen to Phong because I really dont think Stockton has anyone better than him at MvC2.
Damn I really liked that team, but I got sidetracked because when I was new to that game Phong told me it was a bad team so I guess I was always unaware of how good that team was. I guess I would know better if we stockton players knew some more and were better at shit. But for some reason we arent and I doubt ever will be good or known for even being decent. :sad: :sad: :sad:
Hey Rat, if those are your feelings about the comp, then why don’t you show up to Glenns every once in awhile to play SF. We still mostly play A3… though they are starting to get into 3S! Why? I don’t know. I hate 3S, but whatever. Or do you fear us??? But none-the-less your are always welcome to swing around on Friday nights. That’s when most of us are there anyways.
