I like her normals. still trying to get used to hold buttons for her fb setups…lol she can do like 400 damage in the corner with no bar. not sure how to set up her custom combos yet. she can probably get in on sim easily with her counter move and dive kicks… have to try it on frapy…

so i been trainin wit guy a lot lately and…LOL, he’s soooooo cheap.
i’ll money match anybody who thinks they can beat it ft3 for $10,000. i’m not taking any bets lower than that, we might as well play for air if that’s the case.
so i was doing endless battle online and i almost pull a 20 win streak, i lose because i switch to honda and i get gayed cause of lag. the mother fucker threw 3 ex sonic booms in a row and i can’t block on reaction to that online. i had a decent life lead too. but yah, once you hit 10 winstreak on endless battle, you get a trophy, once you hit 18 wins, you get another trophy, i was SOOOOO CLOSE to hitting 20, i wonder if i woulda gotten another :(.
yall won’t beat my guy though, i promise that. i leveled him up hellas in the past few days. i’m only afraid of certain matchups with guy but i know the matchups that i can win. so any takers? $10,000? i need my buyin for the world poker tour.

The trick to doing DP FADC ultra is that mid-screen you actually input the ultra as double qcf, then wait for the autocorrect, then PPP. You don’t have to wait, but it does better damage if you do. In the corner you do input it qcbx2 + PPP, but you still need to wait to get full hits. Cr.hp xx lp shoryu -> ultra is hard, your timing has to be perfect or else it whiffs. They have to basically be right at your head to do the ultra. It’s better to try to input it early than late because then either you get it or you get nothing which is safe.
[]Seth’s ultra trap is gone, and by that I mean both the ability to fireball trap with the ultra and the post-ultra trap. You can’t ultra with a sonic boom on the screen and Seth’s teleport is too slow to combo off of a Sonic Boom that hits crossup. However, you can still do sonic boom FADC teleport shenanigans.
[]The buffs I originally posted was just a placebo effect. No buffs. On the other hand, everything Seth has does the same amount of damage as in vanilla, so he got a damage ‘buff’ by staying at the same damage. Honestly Seth hasn’t been nerfed far too badly. He still has his core gameplay. The ultra 1 nerf hurts a lot but I’m just gonna try to pretend it never was as good as it was in Vanilla. Only gonna use it against Blanka probably.

Humbag I’ve been testing and Dudley’s cr.hk, f+mp, and cr.mk work pretty well against Ryu’s cr.mk. They’re all slower than his cr.mk but it’s something. If you hit/trade with cr.hk you can follow up with hp MGB for a bit extra damage/put the opponent in the corner. Then you get super after that in the corner. Don’t try f+hp, it’s like asking to get hit and it will never ever punish.
Edit: I haven’t tested Dudley’s focus attack yet but it might be another good idea because it reaches so damn far (I mean the actual attack, I know you can’t absorb a cr.mk or else you get hit by a fireball).
Also I have to change my signature because you can’t teleport after hyakuretsu anymore :tdown:

I’m a bit torn on the Dee-Jay, He’s my fav charge character, but I’m concentrating on Makoto purely for a while, but Guy and Cody still peak my interest. Ive seen a couple really great Guy players get taken down by a Ibuki so shes looking to be a hassle (if used with skill)
Also I had an idea for like a pseudo online round robin for 360 users…idk something for the less traveled players to learn together?

Stocking it? The irony. LOL. I spent all of last week stalking it. I’m back to not playing til I get a working, lagless, set, though. It’ll more than likely be next weekend, unless someone who works at a department store that gets more than %10 off is willing to purchase it under their discount, it’s really all I have. But I’ll still make hookups. But we all know how it is to practice laggy or bad habits in this game.
So just a question for all who have it, what was the bonus for already having SF4?
you unlock color 11 and 12. or maybe just one of those. 11 is a dark shading outline of the character. 12 is a cross hatch sketch style that looks like ass.
EDIT: Got whooped by a really good honda last night. Hands FADC ultra 2 is possible. Good set up, but now people will be looking out for it.
Ya, it autodetects the save file from vanilla and updates automatically the very first time you put the game in.
