The rumors of Street Fighter 4 are getting pretty fierce. It was rumored to be at the Tokyo Game Show (still pissed they considered a Dynasty Warriors ripoff a major announcement). I bet on a late '06/early '07 release.

Ya it took a few updates but what else needs changing? There isn’t one move/character that dominates the game completely…so what’s your point?
IMO, SNK just releases new versions of their games to make more money…how much actually changes from one version to the next? (I don’t know I’m not a KOF person)

The mook and the vids will help out alot, thanks. As far as neowave, I really don’t know that game. I’d like to try it out, but I don’t have a copy. I’ll probably just check gametraders when I go there next time. Does any characters staple combos, cancels etc. carry over to KOFXI? If so, it would be a good tool for practice before KOFXI hits import ps2. I’ll most likely be up there Thursday and Friday night. Hope to see more people there.

Playing against Tizoc is a scary experience. All I wanted to do was play keep away and experiment to see what worked, because 90% of the time if I was close I would get eatin alive and didn’t understand why? I see that eiji for me is my best choice against him. Also, I see what you mean about my options after watching the dm’s into ldm’s at stock 3 equals more than half life. However, there are a some of tizoc’s options that I would love to understand and hopefully this post will spark what I am looking for. As I watched your play and the moves you used I noticed a couple of situations that everyone fell prey too. This reply is in hopes to spark some meaningfull converstaions that everyone including my scrubbing kof abilities to learn and improve.
-Tizoc’s flying elbow:
2 versions- One small range and one long range.
Has a huge hit box and hit’s once high and delay’s to a low hit.
Anyone know about this move or if it is safe or not on block? Counterable? Can A+B roll underneath it and punish after last delay hit?
-Tizoc’s spinning piledriver:
I read in another forum, but I don’t know if it holds any truth that all command throws can be canceled into by any move.
I noticed in a couple matches of clark vs. tizoc that I was spinning piledrived in mid air after whiffing a frankenstiener, but I was right next to him which would mean frankenstiener can be avoided by ducking. Are command throws all avoided from ducking?
I know that command throws can’t be broken, so why is clark’s tackle options able to be broken? I guess they classify the options as a regular throw?
Well, I 'll start it off from here and please feel free if anyone has trouble with any character post up and hopefully we can gather alot of info to understand these things.
Things to look out for that will net me a super or dm into ldm 3 stock.
Clark- Watch out for running tackle, because this has a canceling property into all his super’s, dm’s and ldm’s. Greg also mentioned that clark’s overhead punch can cancel into a kick which cancels into his running tackle and you know what happens then.
Kasumi-
Look out for her three ring circus move 214+pX3, because this cancels into her supers, dm, and ldm.
Eiji-
Look out for his jumping K or close multi K, because this leads into super, dm, ldm. Also his striking slash cancels into all of this.

Anything newer than that seemed like A waste.
Witch is why I pretty much quit playing KoF, Tho I will try XI just to give it A fair shot.
Fatal Fury was the last great series that SNK made, & that seems to have been forgotten.
Honestly I feel that we are in the same boat, For you it’s ST & for me it’s RBFF2.
Nothing has come out since that can really rival those games, So why bother.
I keep trying new stuff but it just does not click, I’m sure you know what I am talking about.

All of the team stuff actually got moved to after the singles tourneys end on Saturday; the Nebraska players won’t be showing until at least six in the morning on Saturday and Chicago is probably arriving around or a little after midnight. Also a few days ago I got called in to work from noon to 8 PM on Friday night so I won’t be able to let people in to my house until around 8:30 or 9:00; let me know if that puts you out any.
Just so you guys know the head count right now seems to be from 28 to 35 total? I think Guilty Gear ends up getting the most total entries but by now it could actually be 3S.
And speaking of 3S. Some people have been having trouble with the sticks, especially on the 2P side. Now I haven’t had much trouble with it but the fact is I’m pretty much a scrub at 3S and I never go for anything fancier than random shit and poke xx super, so I’m not the best judge. Make sure you make some time for 3S casual and if you have problems let me know; I’m not really sure how much there is I can do but I’ll try.
I’m up for one. Mostly just messing around right now trying to get all the new characters going along with the new moves from the old ones, but always up for playing other people.
Steve, yeah, I’m very interested in weeklies for KoFXI. $5 entry or something like that. Maybe we can even get them to turn on freeplay for a little extra?

Sinfestboy - Rex is nowhere to be found. Allen and Glen (the 2 azn kids) hardly play. Glen does once in awhile.
I hardly play myself…ST is about the only game I really play these days.
