Thanks mang, I appreciate the kind words though I’m still working on my Tony like the rest of us. I was in best buy the other day and allllmost bought a Hauppauge for my birthday so we could record our matches in sexy hd, but I chickened out…for now.
One of these days I’m going to make a proper IM team, but that’s gonna require some thought, and probably having to learn some more characters. Until that day I’ll keep fighting for freedom with my main man Cap.

I played like probably 100 games on stream last night, not my finest work because the UFO cabs are kind of questionable sometimes but there’s good stuff in there and I’ll try to point to the best matches when I get around to rewatching them. A lot of it is spencer obviously, but theres some notable ironman play I think, including multiple guardbreaks using his assist! Hopefully I should be able to parse through it tonight.
Do you guys actually have custom made cabs for UMvC3? How does that work?
There are ps3s inside custom made cabs, and when you insert a token you get 3 minutes worth of time to play, the time stacks so if you put in 3 tokens you get 9 minutes and so on. Its an awesome place but the sticks have ttaken a beating from all the play and aren’t quite as accurate as they could be sometimes, the obvious things that happen to me are accidental tacs and missed air dashes. But overall I can still play mostly profiently there.

You both play so slow. IM’s jump is floaty, jumping up like that is just asking for getting air grabbed. You want to jump and very quickly come back down with j.h or j.s low to the ground because they hit much further than IM’s ground normals. Fly into j.s overhead is slow, call Jam Session and use ADD j.s or j.d/h mixed with c.l. Stop doing random s.h on the floor against Spencer, it is also easily punishable. Don’t just randomly jump up and down with Dante, use his air dash j/h low to the ground more, definitely don’t do j.s from really high up.
Dante can bold cancel any normal to avoid getting punished by random hyper, don’t try to counter stuff with level 3 if they still have xfactor.

Awesome just what this character needed. If you do it with Angled Proton Canon can they still punish you?
In all honesty this is not a big deal. If you are in a situation like that with Iron Man you should be going for a reset. L Smart Bombs, Air Throw, combo is a basic but extremely effective reset that would have killed Magneto with no more meter spent.
Speaking of resets, anyone have anything besides an airthrow reset off L Smart Bombs in the corner? Its +10 on hit so you should be able to do some cool stuff with it.
hitstun deteriorates, im has no real solo resets. instead of resetting you should call assist and start pressuring/zoning behind it. And by assist I mean drones or missiles.
