I don’t know of a website, but it’s pretty simple.
There are mostly just 2 types of armor: armored and light.
There are also other attributes to armor such as biological, psionic (Queen only), structure, shield (Protoss only), and massive.
So a Marauder does 10 damage (+10 to armored units). If a Marauder attacks a Marine, it will do 10 damage to the Marine because it is a “light” armored unit. If the same Marauder attacks a Marauder, which is an “armored” unit, it will do the +10 extra damage, therefore taking 20 damage per shot.
I believe a Roach is an “armored” unit and comes with +1 armor so it will take 1 less damage per shot from any unit. But it will take 2 less damage per shot from a unit like a Marauder. So an Marauder will do 18 damage per shot to a Roach with +1 armor.
that sounds like a (failed) concession to korea where you’re required to register to any message board or online portal with your name and/or ID number
So I’ve been playing the beta more consistently in Phase II and very much have been practicing my
builds, when I noticed something the main story mode that has been driving me crazy because of it’s
curiousity. The Xel’ Naga! And now I think this is the first glimpse of them!
I just wanted to share in case anyone is still as **excited **as I am to see how the story unfolds, and especially
how/if Blizzard really did put the Xel’Naga into this game in some form other than this!

Which is most likely also what the Xel’Naga are as well. Or close to it.
Zeratul: ‘…the “gods” that forged us all.’ (and then showing us the figure on the carvings of the
cave that he was looking at before running into Kerrigan in the “Old Rivals” cinematic—a figure
resembling both a Zerg, and a Protoss.
Either way, I cannot wait to see what they’re like. I seriously hope Blizzard did make them appear
in this game as Zeratul eludes to.
I was emailed being told that I can be part of the beta…yay 10 day with the game before launch…:bluu: wasn’t caring too much about this but 10 days to mess with it and see if I want to buy it ain’t bad.
I don’t know where you got that info—but it definitely wasn’t from actually playing SC/BW. The Xel’Naga aren’t dead, otherwise they wouldn’t be returning .
Also, HOLY CRAP. I just read this article over at Destructoid on how SCII has cost $100 MILLION!! to make (in it’s entire 3 parts). Anyone here think they’ll make that back??
I know it’s Blizzard, and I know they have WoW, but GODDAMN, that’s insane for a little PC RTS!!! I mean, SHIT!
$100 Million easy. People can hate on some of the features not included at the moment, but the majority of the people buying it are casual players looking for that story mode. I know at least five people that will be buying this game and have never played multiplayer on SC1 or have little interest in it for SC2. That story mode is going to be crazy, I personally can’t wait since Starcraft has been my favorite story wise game out of Blizzard’s games.
little? This is Blizzard no way is anyone thinking SC2 is a little RTS game. 100 mil? sounds liek a lot but I imagine a big chunk will go to promote the game. South Korea alone will make that money back for Blizzard in a day or two. This isn’t including the expansions.
I still say even for one day just dick around with it. I did and I got destroyed but I feel I need a refresher course on SC…I completely forgot everything I knew about the game…though it has been 10 years since I played.
