from what i’ve seen…i was wondering if hit and run tactics with ranged units will have the type of effectiveness they did in broodwar…the overall distance of ranged units seems shortened now…
It seems like they did kind of make a lot of units slower, like Immortals are slow as shit, unlike the Dragoons who had decent speed. Zealot movement seems kind of the same, unless they get Leg Enhancements in this one, too…then that’d be the shit. Leg Enhancements + Wave Dash = The pimpness.
I’m still waiting on the news about Vultures. I swear, if they take out Vultures, I will be sad, but if they replace them with something else better and cooler, well, hey, i’ll be happy.
i was particularly lookin’ at the immortals and the reapers who don’t shoot until they’re almost at point blank range…seemed kinda weird…
game speed has come into question…the game was demo’d on normal speed…i’m interested in what people will adopt as the standard, which may or may not be upped a notch…
i also noticed dropships can still carry at least 1 tank, lol…i’m guessing its probably still 2 though…which looks kinda odd in 3d…but i guess i’ll get used to it like with the original…
i dunno about the vultures…how lame would that be to be playing starcraft 2, and u’re still using tank/vulture combos as one of u’re main strats…alot of units are getting dropped to open up new doors for strats…though i am certain overall terran cheese will remain intact…look at protoss…pretty much their entire air fleet has been replaced…though the pheonix does look like a corsair equivalent with its speed and splash dmg…the warp ray looks like a welcome addition…we all know how shitty and useless scouts were…
after SC blizz said that they discovered that people will always play the fastest (playable) game speed, no matter what their intentions are. so now theyll always make the “fastest” speed match the speed they want the game to be played at.
i’m a little fed up with bw these days. two games in the past two days have ended with a backstab (one which i actually won). there’s no decency these days.
Backstab? lol, are you playing those 3vs3 no money limit matches + nr 20?
My friends and I used to do that. It would be 3 of us and we’d all be on the phone and we’d just be like "Aite yo, when you guys attack, i’ll nuke the middle."

Or when I was Protoss, i’d tell my team i’m gonna do Arbiter recall, so they’re like “ok”. Once time was up, i’d pretend i’m gonna recall on my friends, instead, I recall it to their minerals and unally…ah man, good shit, rofl.
Oh, better yet. Tell them you’re gonna go all out Defense + Goons. Build as many Photon Cannons as you can in your base and theirs…rofl.

Once I see a guy starting to build pylons in my base and I ask him why and he’ll usually say “Imma help defend your base with my photon cannons man” that’s it, I blow his probes. It’s a lost cause game anyway, so might as well announce to the other team there’s a backstabber, finish him then leave.
