Why don’t we take this discussion to a “DoTA is gay, yea or nay” thread? It’s kinda sad to see the SC2 thread getting all pooped up with this stuff.

I thought DotA was pretty crappy when I first started playing it also, but as you play it more and more it gets very addicting I think. Believe it or not there is alot of skill involved aswell, without teamwork you will lose.
I second that.
Otherwise; you have your opinions and there is no need to put anyone else down.
Now…I got a couple people for some bw games tonight, anyone else up for it?

Heh, one fateful time I joined a 3v3 match in Starcraft. After about 30 seconds into the game, when one of our allies wouldn’t ally up, my other teammate was like, “has he still not allied you either?! I think we’re dealing with a ngger! Let’s get him!" At which point he proceeded to attack the guy while calling for help from the other team. He was like "Guys we’ve got a ngger on our team up here, help us kill him!” And they actually helped lol!
I was cracking up. I mean real racism is wrong, but racism on an internet game lol… it can be pretty funny stuff. =p

How big do you guys think the requirements will be for SC2?
I’m thinking of buying a new mobo that supports SLI, getting me some 8600 GTS’s SLI’ed and 2 gig ram up in that biatch with an AMD X2 5xxx CPU…you think that’ll be enough?
Maybe even upgrade to 4 gig ram…just because SC2 is gonna be that God like.

That sounds like getting ready for Supreme Commander, not SC2. I’d think Blizzard will want SC2 to run on a wide variety of machines (all of their games don’t require a sick machine to run) so as to make even more money.
Of course, SC2 will just give me an excuse to upgrade again, haha.
