Yeah, the game is very much in its infancy right now when we consider that two expansions are on the horizon. In a way, I’m happy that blizzard decided to split the game into three parts. It def. meant me dishing out more money to enjoy the series, but it also means that I have something to look forward to and improvements made to the existing gameplay.
Don’t have any hard evidence, but SC2 has had a hard time getting backing because the SC Mafia (aka Kespa) has shunned it over all the lawsuits and stuff. This means the big players in the market won’t even touch it yet. With those settling, and the announcement that Blizzard might be working with them in the future (much to GomTVs dismay), it’s only inevitable that SC2 will explode.
For now, they’ve announced they have 50million foreign views just for 2011, that’s a hell of a lot of interest in SC2. With the skill level rising incredibly (I watched some old GSL S1 games, and boy were they terrible) it’s getting to be a more interesting game and even a lot of the bw diehards are starting to see the light

I think DRG definitely has one of the best shots to win, but theres a few koreans who need that Code S spot. It’s gonna be fierce.

I am on a shitty Internet connection i will look at it sometime. I usually don’t jump at the opportunity to look at replays lol. I am usually fairly aggressive against T so they can’t worth bull shit drops.

So the new Slayers build is kind of interesting–fast reactor hellion into a push with BF hellion + marines + 1 medivac, and elevator-ing the marines into the zerg main. Oddly enough, zergs haven’t really been responding with roaches. I’m not sure what’s making the strat so effective. Any thoughts?
Zergs have gotten pretty reliant on spine crawlers in the front, and their build pretty much circumvents it

hey guys, i’m about to buy sc2 but i’ve heard that the game is region locked and if i get the korean version i can’t get on US servers and vice versa…is that still true?
No, it’s not true. You can play cross regions, but their may be some lag issue. Just post on teamliquid.net for guidance.
