Ya its region locked and to get the Korean versions you need some weird SSN type number I heard from some of the pros. That is why they had trouble with it plus KR to US is really bad lag.
However, they just recently opened up some cross region play, I think LA and NA are able to play across eachother and KR and TW are able to play eachother. Plus now you can get a time based TW account for really cheap, and play against KR. So for those who want to try their hand against KR you can now do it.
But yeah no KR / US cross region play. Basically buy the copy for the region you want to play most

Just finished watching MLG Anaheim. After watching many of the matches, I have to say that my respect for Boxer jumped 10x higher. The man is patient, tenacious, and brilliant. Also, MMA plays Terrran a lot like Zerg–huge map control and counterattacks using drops. It’s pretty crazy.
Was IMMVP in Code S?
Yes he was already in code S, so MMA gets back into code S after dropping to code B I think. He deserves it… too bad DRG didn’t make it, and neither did boxer. They’ll make it back soon
So top TWO in MLG get to go to code S, or is it that MVP was already in Code S that they give it to MMA? That being said, it’s cool for MMA to get back to back MLG finals. The only thing disappointng about MLG was that 5 terrans were in the finals… 5 TERRANS. Oh, and we can’t download the replays because they will not be released.

Np on the tips catch I would worry less about all ins and more about beating T straight up though. Anytime I am on I will play games with anyone with w/e race they want. Bleh I need to get back to laddering so I can get into Masters league I really want to see my record.
Well huk already is in Code S, Idra left GSL from a code S spot so he won’t take a Code A one (though he technically does get one, yes), and Naniwa already won a code A spot from the last MLG for august, so I guess technically he can take a code A spot for sept if he loses round 1 this upcoming code A
Once they start digging really deep to give away the code A spots they kind of lose their meaning sadly
It doesnt actually matter much that Boxer, DRG and Ganzi dont get Code A spots from MLG, since all three of them made it through the qualifiers. 
And Choya made it to the final round again somehow, though he didn`t quite make it through this time. He ended up losing a PvP to ZENEXTREME for the Code A spot.

And I like the Immortal Buffs too. I think the vision up a ramp change will make it so that you can’t warp up past Force Fields in PVP anymore too, which if that is true can we get Pylon range back please?
Can’t wait for the patch to test these changes out. I’m really liking the immortal change.

Man, It’s clear that T is the dominant race now. Code S has 20 Terrans, 5 protoss, and 7 zerg. That’s not balance that’s a landslide.
Anyway, I’m not sure how many people on SRK still actively play SC2 or how many want to get back into it. I was thinking of organizing some sort of online league that we could host, where you play your matches every week or whatnot to help each other improve. Nothing serious of course.
Then if that goes well we could do a “Community League” where each team has a community they represent (typically a forum, SRK, TeamLiquid, Reddit, etc) and then we just do a league format. Give like a $100 team prize or something, and stream a highlight match each week and use the revenue from streaming to help offset the cost of the prize.
I dunno I just feel like organizing something SC related to get me back to wanting to play and improve again
