SO I played SC2 for the first time I think in 4 months last weekend had fun, decided to try a ladder match last night, of course I haven’t been paying attention and some things were strange so timing off, etc. I was high silver in 1v1 when last season ended, I lost my one game and somehow now ended up high gold… I don’t get it but whatever… I still suck at this game.
Seriously. And the commentating by both Artosis and Tasteless is so damn epic as well. They really added to the suspense of the match: the way they lowered and raised their voices at key moments in the game had me at the edge of my seat.
When did SC get that good? I thought he used to just be a no name terran, now suddenly hes a really good one. Damn, but Nestea holds like a boss.
And as much as I don’t think Nada is that great, he played really well all season and really proved himself. Too bad he lost to Anypro, I felt like I’d rather see Nada go through just to see Nada vs Nestea; however as a Protoss player, I’m really happy he managed to make it through. Another P Champion, or Nestea 2 peat? I think he will 2 peat myself, but Anypro showed he’s dangerous
Yeah my bad not sure why I thought Anypro, I think it was because July lost to him. Inca going to the finals is pretty surprising. And I never considered Nada that good in SC2, just an old legend riding his previous fame to fans, but Im realizing now I was wrong
It’s because he fills a niche role in the SC community that not many other people manage to accomplish–and that role is providing highly logical analysis of SC2 strategy/mechanics. Husky is just an idiot, Gretorp just sometimes says the wrong stuff, Incontrol is. . .fine, Artosis is usually spot on strategy wise with really good insight, but gets dragged down into inanity by Tasteless, etc.
Day9 actually provides really informative analysis that not many others can. I’ll admit that lots of people–for the lack of a better phrase–tend to ride Day9’s e-cock and worship him, and that does get pretty annoying. And sometimes Day9’s humor falls flat, or he tries to hard to be funny. But the man is an inexhaustible wealth of SC2 knowledge, which is pretty respectable.
Don’t know if this is the right place for it, but any NY people that are watching TSL3. Official TSL3 After Party - Page 10
After party to meet the players and hang out with other SC2 locals. Hope to see some of you guys there.
