So i saw the MVP vs Adellscott match in TSL

Holy fuck was that last play great. Clutch as hell force fields save the day. Major props to Adell for managing to take it 2-0

I just can’t get into the whole SC2BW thing, because they’re not just coding in the old units and trying to balance them in the new engine, they’re reworking the game to add all the old interface limitations in that made the game a relic of the past (no auto mine, 12 units max selection, no multiple building selection). It’s like all these players spent the better part of the decade learning to do all these menial tasks and now want them back in the game for no reason other than they already are used to doing them. It’s like taking 10 giant steps backwards, it just really is something I can’t get behind

There’s an option to turn those things on or off pre-game in the start screen. You choose how you want to play the game, BW style or SC2 style :tup:

I’ve seen a few games after patch and I def. think that infestors are making a case for gameplay. They seem a lot more versatile and effective now.

You can already begin playing it. Just search for SC2BW when creating a new custom game. Don’t think it’s been published in EU servers yet, SEA is outdated but US should be good to go :karate:

Yeah, so I’m only 2 games into last nights matches, so Im not reading the above spolier, BUT HOLY SHIT White-Ra just beat MC in the most epic PvP I’ve ever seen

PvP is a matchup that I don’t care about whatsoever. With 4-Gate (or at least the threat of a 4-gate) a less capable player can beat a better player… With that said, let me check out this replay. I’ll post back my thoughts on the championship round.

I don’t think this is true, because I can’t imagine a good toss player that can’t execute a 4 gate. It’s a necessary build, and without the threat of it in your arsenal toss because much less scary. Especially with it being the prevalent build in PvP, everyone who plays P needs a good 4 gate. So basically PvP becomes who can execute 4 gate the best

What effect does placing a sentry force field on a tank have? Not around the tank, but actually on it? In a recent p v t match, I saw this.

only a few people seem to have it set to auto join though

I dont think you can place force fields directly on a unit? But if you can place it on a sieged tank, I’d assume it prevents repair at least

Yeah it’s for preventing repair. You’ll also see protoss players force field bunkers for the same reason and also to prevent units from actually getting INTO the bunker itself.

HOLY SHIT. mvp vs july. Talk about BIG PLAYS. One of the best match I’ve ever seen.
