Actually, Lando didn’t die in the 2 films of the original trilogy that he was in. So to make up for it, John Boyega’s character will die halfway through this film.

Anyone read the new novels. Apparently, there’s stuff in it that at least makes bits of KOTOR (the planet Taris) part of the new canon.

Other possibly KOTOR related things from the new novels, there is someone on Taris wearing gear similar to Revan’s. There’s alot of talk about the Dark Side coming from a power outside the edge of the galaxy.

Additionally, the SSD we see in Jakku is possibly named “Ravager”, just like the ship in KOTOR2. Also, Wedge Antilles was apparently recruited into the Rebel Alliance by “Fulcrum”, who we know to be Ahsoka herself.

Wow… forgot how much the 2003 clone wars rocked! The intergalactic war felt like an INTERGALACTIC WAR!!! Every episode was a different main character fighting the enemy on a new planet in a different setting. Thousands of troops going at it at once! Really well captured.

Probably not, unless someone in the new canon group is a fan of those story threads and decides to adapt them into it. That said, stuff from beyond the original trilogy is gonna be harder to adapt in.

Yeah well the newer Clone Wars Series did a damn good job on its own rights. Star Wars has been killing it with animation for a while now, even Rebels is pretty solid.
