just one problem with your idea. depending on how big the asteroid was (probably the size of a moon or a small planetoid) it IS possible for it to have gravity and for it’s gravity to act on the bombs to bring them down. Outside of the question of why Rose’s sister wasnt sucked out, the only thing left to go by is are these bombs electromagnetic (im gonna say “yes” so it sounds less stupid)? and if not, is the super dreadnought as big (or bigger) as a moon or small planetoid that it would have its own gravity? and if so, would that gravity be strong enough to pull the bombs towards it? Thats the question here

[details=Spoiler]I really liked TLJ. It was really good, and I would definitely watch it again. I liked Finn and Rose’s adventures, even if they basically amounted to nothing, and i can see why people would criticize that but I liked it, I even really like that they failed to accomplish anything. It was stupid for them to just run off like that so it’s nice to see it bite them in the ass and almost get them killed. Same with Poe’s character, he acts like a typical Star Wars hot shot pilot moron and thinks he can save the day with a stupid ass plan and it doesn’t work. I dig that. Mark Hamill was fucking great in this as Luke, I don’t give a rats ass if Hamill liked or disliked it I care if he gave a goof performance and he did.
I really like the dynamic between Rey and Kylo. Strongest part of the movie.
Reys parents being no one is great. No grand destiny, no god like family blood. You’re just a person with a gift. Use it wisely. Fantastic.
Some of the stuff they do with the space battles is dope. I’m not gonna harp on the lack of proper space physics because it’s fucking Star Wars it;s never gotten that right. If you suddenly have a problem with this now you’re a fucking morn.

Just Luke in general. His Force Projection scene was fucking dope, one of the collest things I’ve seen in a Star Wars movie, so well done. Really liked it. Him giving into fear for a split second is great to because despite all the Jedi bullshit he’s still a fucking person with flaws and makes mistakes and has doubts. These are normal people things to do. Considering this movie has a big through line about how shitty legends are I really like this. You can even see it in the way people are reacting to this. “Oh Luke would never do that” bullshit, people make mistakes, give into doubts and fears even for a split second. It humanized the hell out of him and I really like that. He’s not a fucking legend. He’s a person.

Phazma is stupid. I hate this character, she is fucking pointless. She looks big and bad ass but she’s dumb as shit and only looks intimidating, when it comes time to perform she fucking fails. I don’t care if it’s tradition for cool looking Star Wars characters to job, this bitch is a waste of screen time. I’m glad Poe ejected her from the series, here’s hoping she doesn’t come back.
The pacing is kinda wack and it makes the movie a bit too long. If they had to make cuts then it should be to Finn and Rose’s story tho I would be sad to see it go, but it just kinda makes the movie run a little too long.
DJ. I don’t dislike the idea of the character, that’s fine, I just don’t like the character himself. I’m not a very big Del Toro fan to begin with, he’s like Johnny Depp to me, he’s either great or fucking hate him for trying to be pointlessly weird and quirky and that’s how he is here. Just obnoxiously weird. Why the stutter? It adds nothing to the character other then said quirkiness and it makes him fucking annoying to listen to, and that smug ass face his was annoying. I know he’s supposed to be a subversion of Hans character but he’s just bleh every time he’s on the screen. I don’t like him.

As far as why Rose’s sister wasn’t sucked out, the shields were still engaged. That has been shown multiple times in Star Wars (Death Star Hanger and Vader’s looking at the Tantive IV escaping are key examples).
However, this movie gives 0 about physics and realism. You have multiple audible explosions in the vacuum of space.

Twin Ion Engines aren’t enough to explain how TIE fighters can maneuver through a planets atmosphere successfully. None of the ships in these movies are aerodynamically sound. You even have them stationary over cities with no visible thrust directed downward.
One of my favorite things in Star Wars is the Millennium Falcon. However the simple fact there are no complaints about how it can achieve atmospheric flight practically renders a discussion of real world physics a moot point.
