Star Wars

Who is that girl?

That’s how Vader supposed to be. Like all of the other Sith in the Expanded Universes and such

I just want Disney to remake the prequels at this point. Vader deserves a better origin story.

And remake the original series and add some of the OG stuff in Episode 8 and Episode 9. The One Sith (Darth Krayt) and the Lost Tribe of the Sith with Lord Vol and Vestara Khai.

Naw the original series is flawless (with the exception of Jedi, but still) remaking those would be sacrilegious. It’s bad enough Lucas did what he did with the Special Editions.

Good movie.

Formulaic, but nobody expected to see THAT formula in the Star Wars universe.

I can see why Lucas liked it so much- he’s a big Kurosawa fan and this one leaned more heavily on Seven Samurai than Lucas himself leaned on Hidden Fortress when he made the original movie.

Thoroughly enjoyed it; planning to watch it again at least 2 more times. Darth Vader representin’!

Some of the SE changes were OK.

I think these were actually good:
[] Biggs Darklighter
[
] removing the transparency of snow speeder cockpit scenes
[] Cloud City
[
] ROTJ Ending

Aurabesh in the Death Star
These were terrible
[] Jabba
[
] Han vs. Greedo
[] Wampa in ESB
[
] Jedi Rocks
[] Sebastian Shaw’s removal
[
] NOOOOOOO Pt. 2
Still would of like to see some of these scenes in the actual movie, but oh well. . .

Say what now!?

[details=Spoiler]

Why wasn’t it Vader’s executioner super star destroyer that stopped the escaping rebel fleet?

My only guess is to keep it consistent with the opening of episode IV

Read the Vader Comics from Marvel, it makes more sense.

O yea forgot to mention; the movie literally stopped 10 minutes into it(it froze when the door was blasted open when she was being rescued) and the manager had to explain the issue. Apparently the projector’s bulb needed to be replaced. People were salty af but he managed to calm folks down by offering a 10 minute intermission and everyone can refill their drinks/popcorn for free(but NOT nachos because ‘corporate office might question that’ :wtf:  ) and we were all given free movie tix good forever  .

I hope they make more of these type; so many possibilities with the SW franchise. Maybe ‘Bounty Hunters’ stories or something.

As expected by the biggest movie grouches in history, the Redlettermedia crew didn’t like Rogue One. Though as usual, they have legit reasons for doing so, and as usual, I strongly suspect that they enjoyed the movie more than they let on.

It would be cool to see the Imperial side of things. I’d be in line for a movie showing the Lt. Piett working his way up the ladder of the Imperial Navy to his final assignment on the Executor.

 1. ESB

 2. ROTJ

 3. TFA

 4. ANH

 5. R1

 6. ROTS

Not like she’s dead anyway, considering that Aphra just got her own monthly series.

Vader only gains command of the Executor (and forms his Death Squadron) after the events of A New Hope and the following Darth Vader comic. His ship is still the Devastator at this point.

I don’t know my own votes here yet, but … that’s an impressive list.

I’m not sold on Forest Whitaker in Rogue One yet. Guess I’ll have to watch Rebels to figure out just who the hell that guy is.

lmfao how are nachos off limits?

Cheese is expensive.
