It’s both sides of the coin. It’s literally the same arguments since the new movies began. It’s either some weird version of Mary sue/fuck women argument or it’s a fuck skywalkers. It’s been this way for fucking years now. This thread almost universally loved Mando but the min it ended the argument flow chart got activated. It’s why I hate this thread, I love star wars and would love to interact in here more but when you got a 5 year long fight going. There is so much stuff we could talk about without it ending up in the same shit. Do you know how much it takes to make prowrestling fans look good? They are literally breaking in and trying to kidnap female wrestlers and I’m Goin… Well still not as bad as star wars Fandom

Not gonna lie, I enjoyed the moment but it doesn’t make the show S+++++.
If that was in one of the movies, there would be 0 complaints about the sequel trilogy (similar to how people just ignore that Rogue One is only half of a good movie).

Kylo and Rey are beta versions of Ben and Vestara.
Vestara came out in 2009 way before the sequel trilogy. Also, Lucasfilm official characters until Kathleen Kennedy and her ilk. As the rumors go, they may be official again if they deem that the sequel trilogy is a different universe or alternate timeline like the Mortal Kombat series having 2 different timelines. Based on your comment, Mara Jade is fan fiction too
