It’s not wrong, hell you may be right he may be acting petty and have a ton of condescension in his voice in that post, we just won’t ever know because it’s text and not speech so people will see it how they want to.
Regardless of tone his summation was correct and if people don’t like the way he talks about Star Wars then they should stop asking him about Star Wars. I personally wouldn’t blame him if he or basically anyone else attached to the new Star Wars movies where bitter, they’ve been treated like shit by almost everyone be it Disney or the fanbase. The way the fanbase has treated these people is absolutly shameful. The last fees years has been all kinds of disappointment with Star Wars but none so much as how the fanbase has behaved, imo.
I don’t blame him for being bitter, but he didn’t do any favors himself. My only issue I personally have with Rian is, he did little to nothing with Finn. He had a potentially unique story that we saw glimpses of in 7 and 9…and it never came out.
Not that it matters as I said don’t be surprised if Disney just bulldozes the saga and reboots everything from the ground up in 20+ years.
Yea sure, but that’s where he stands. He was handed an empty box and told “Do whatever” so he did and he was lynched for it. Glimpses of something isn’t always enough to get a writer interested in a character so with only “glimpses” I’m not surprised he didn’t do much with Finn.
Yea I deffinitly agree with this. Fans are cheering now for them apperantly bulldozing the new trilogy, but its gonna be hella funny as fuck when that Bulldozer turns to the movies they do like.
Eh debatable. I never cared about Snoke so knowing more about him was never on my radar. I thought most of the theories where pretty ass personally. What we got was just fine…for me.

It helps that Spiderman has more media content then just about any other super hero. I’d say only Batman and Superman compare and I’d bet they still lose.
True but I think what makes it work is the variety. From the various animated shows to live action joints both domestic and international. You get a lot of different takes.
Hopefully Disney is wise enough to apply this to their Star Wars projects after seeing the success of The Mandalorian and even Rogue One.
They’re saying Disney plans on scrapping Eps 7-9, saying it was just a protection from Palpatine’s Dark mirrors and the Veil of the Force. Basically turning these movies into a “what if” scenario.
I don’t care what fandom you are a part of, you’re gonna piss someone off. They may as well just own it, start up another saga set 1K years in the future.
