Have you seen Luke’s feats outside the OT? 
I don’t think many Jedi come close to what he’s done.

Watched most of the movies in a row. OT → Prequels → TFA.
Got to the scene on The Last Jedi where Luke just picks up his old lightsaber from Rey and immediately tosses it away. Looked like a good place to end the series. 
[spoiler]In all seriousness, I’m waiting for RoS to come out somewhere I can watch so I can judge the whole Sequel Trilogy properly.[/spoiler]

That whole scene was awkward as all hell. Rey just tried to give Luke that shit without a word and we had to watch it in 2 movies.

I knew pretty early on that the movie wasn’t for me. The “yo mama joke” from Poe and Snoke giving Hux the “three stooges” treatment showed me what I was in for.

Really Reys feats don’t even come close to what Luke and even Obi-Wan have shown. I understand she didn’t get a training montage, but she doesn’t really hold a candle to force users that came before her.

Yes but Luke trained and it would have been more believable if we got at least something that showed Leia took time to develop her force abilities.
