Star Wars Thread

It’s a bad idea to use the word retarded in mixed company, especially on the job.

With that said trying to get people fired from their jobs is fucking selfish, self centered, and god damned retarded.

BRUH!!
What in the f#&@ is going on with Star Wars canon!!?

Because, that is a big ass omission to the Skywalker saga!!!

Were talking about this before (just a day ago in the thread), Padmé does have a small army of body doubles.

Plus we know in Star Wars Cloning is a you know a thing. They even fought a whole war with Clones.

Been rewatching Clone Wars and two things I forget til I began rewatching:

The body count is huge in this show! (this show really puts the war in star wars)

Almost all the gals have DSL due to the style of animation…heh heh

Padmé and Sabé

Yeah and they sounded the same too. Even I was fooled when I first saw the movie.

I wasn’t fooled. I kept wondering why her face looked different on random occasions. Then when the reveal happened it made more sense. The ADR done was pretty decent.

They got Keira Knightley’s and Natalie Portman’s own mothers fooled on set.

The ADR and the lines Amidala used referring to the Queen in third person is what sold it. It was really clear that she was a using a double of sorts.

I can barely tell, and thats with you pointing them out.

That said, its in universe that Padme has a whole army of Doubles.

Sometimes it works that way. I can see how it could be glossed over, but she was in one too many scenes where it stuck out for me.

Then this new comic doesn’t help LOL.

Vader been fooled before, Too often. How one of the Galaxy’s most powerful force user had no idea his children still lived, that his wife was having twins, and that he was inches away from his own adult daughter and never realize she was a force sensitive. He just went on the white lie Shiv Palpatine told him while Vader was still in the OR for his cybernetic implants.

When Phantom Menace came out I was fooled because I barely knew who Portman was and had no idea who Knightly was.

These days I can tell them apart in that movie very easily.

I never worried about trying to tell them apart. I was too busy thinking about both of them, at the same time, in my bed.

You and I both, I want my Beef to go into their Taco.

I am terrible with faces, so to this day I can’t tell.

I also refuse to watch most of the non action parts of The prequels after I saw them in the theaters.

Pod Race and Duel of the Fates

That’s all in TPM that keeps the movie in the awesome category.

And I hate the Pod Racing, I feel it added Nothing to the story, in fact I think it took away from the Story.

It’s why for viewing order I suggest Machete order as it treats Episode 1 as if it Never Existed.

I liked the pod racing because it’s one few sections of the movie that wasn’t boring.
