Star Wars Thread

I’m just gonna dead this now. EP4/5 are good and are considered the peak of the mainline movies. People hold the both of those films in high regard despite it being about space wizards. Wanting more films that hold that standard isn’t a form of regression. Asking to be pandered to to the point of destroying a well made story is not what I want. Hence why I said that just because I have a standard doesn’t mean I want all Star Wars movie to be EP4/5. I think most people feel this way. However ESkills counter to my statement was that I’m on a nostalgia trip. He then builds on this by saying “well all the mainline films ain’t really anything special anyway”.

All that aside me liking the Mando completely disproves Eskills mentality about me as that show does things the ST doesn’t do. It’s nowhere near perfect but it’s still good.

None of that had anything to do with what I or ESkills said. You’re just repeatedly saying “People think IV and V are amazing so you should to and you should line up with mine.” No. Fuck you. I have my own opinion. I don’t want most SW movies to be like V or else V loses its mistique. IV has a number of issues all its own, stilted diologue, wooden acting, bad choreography, so I don’t want them to be exactly like 4 either. I like TFA but mainly because it’s a better IV, which you don’t agree with.

You deaded nothing dude. God damn.

I never said your opinion has to line up with mine. But continue to be a sniveling piss baby.

Thats what youre entire set of posts are dude. It’s you contanstantly going “No youre wrong” while appealing to the masses on youtube and shit as if anyone cares about the masses opinion.

Im not the one being a sniveling piss baby. I like these movies. I also haven’t called you any names like sniveling piss baby so I have a feeling I’m not the one throwing a fit here.

Everyone is to blame for the ST.

As a whole, Disney tried to cater to everyone in this trilogy and got everyone mad at different things.

Pretty much sums it up.

I have no idea which part of this trilogy was catering to me.

The casual part?

Seriously I don’t think even Disney knew by the end of it all.

The only ones to blame are kathleen kennedy and the other retards at lucasfilm. From the get-go they had no plan for the trilogy, you had a glorified paper-pushing secretary who honestly thought she could function as a legit creative mind driving the franchise(WTF?), they were strangely trying to prioritize SJW & Feminazi agendas in place of quality story telling and characters, etc.

Disney’s shitfest also single-handedly redeemed the prequels. Because it made us all realize they simply weren’t that bad. Sure they were flawed, dumb movies but, they at least FELT like Star Wars flicks, and despite their issues, managed to have their share of memorable qualities, villians, heros, crazy lightsaber fights, etc.

Disney’s shlock has no such redeeming qualities. Just watching Rey run around and be “Perfect” at everything. Ugghhh.

Lmao

Oh no they are absolutly that bad, you’re just so caught up in the drama of hating Disney Star Wars you’re retroactively changing your stance on old movies that aren’t very good either because it’s the popular thing to do.

You’re 7 different shades of fucking pathetic.

Kylo Ren is the best character introduced in the ST. RoS fucked his arc but he still the best thing about all three films.

I have yet to be shown any plot stuff that involved this. The most people can cite was Rey being crazy strong from the jump, but whole trilogy later we it damn well seems JJ had a plan for why she was so batshit crazy at the start.

Let’s start citing the actual movies. If me, a scrub ass Star Wars casual, can build an argument against the idea of grey jedis sticking strictly to movie canon, then it should be fairly easy for you to demonstrate how those things panned out as a theme throughout the trilogy.
