SSFIV AE ver 2013 Oni wishlist

it was demonstrated that his Focus Attack has actually longer range than a lot characters. The thing is that compare to some characters, Oni doesn’t draw back during the focus attack animation, making us think that he has a short ranged FA.

non FADC-able shoryu/special I think should be a trait for everyone: you want to extent your combo, you can FADC. Your reversal is blocked, you pay the price

I don’t think Oni’s slashes should be safe on block. But being a move that can be countered before AND after being block, I think making it safe on block when hit on meaty should be fine

For his air dashes, I think the back dash version should have a faster recovery on ground
MP version should have his hitbox lower, going out outside his hitbox. Making in a high attack would be something interesting too
for the forward dash I think it’s pretty good as it is. Maybe cancel anytime into U1 ? (Would be a bit abuse-able maybe.)

His Air U1 is completely useless.The way I modded was that they should completely scrap the normal version of this Air U1 and put the cancelling Air U1 instead. So instead of starting in 14F, It would start in 4F. In addidtion, I would make the fireball travel faster.

hmmm dunno about his EX-tatsus. The only most useful ones I’ve seen are the ones from Sakura/Ken/Dan

the qcf x kkk for u2 is a nice change and safe slashes is ok i suppose. no fadc on dp means oni is still just a low tier gimmick character unfortunately.

I would like some priority in Oni’s hits I really don’t like the fact I can hit a person and then they also hit at the same time but I take the damage even though I connected first.
Also movement speed I would like increased a little more.

priority doesnt exist. It’s all about Startup + active frames + reocvery + hitbox + hurtboxes from both opponents
