Played against a Gief back in vanilla usin Ryu. Zoned him quite well. He msg’d me after asking why I wouldn’t get close to him and also told me I would get bored of the game real soon if I use hadoken regularly.

I joined an endless room today where there was a fight in progress and one of the players had a headset. He was saying, “Without your sonic boom you’re nothing. Nothing. Nothing. Sonic boom! Although I couldn’t actually see the fight I think I had a pretty good idea what was going on.
I’m playing Cammy one night, about 2 in the morning, just chilling and merking shoto scrubs and whatnot, then I get a decent Cody. Not too bright about wakeup, but you know. Anyway, third round, I start charging a focus attack right next to him, then I dash backwards to get out of the way in case he does anything. That very second, suddenly I hear the Ultra sound, and there’s just fucking dust flying everywhere and shit. I was just out of the range where I fell to the ground as the dust hit me so the pipe didn’t finish me off. I punished with U1. By god, it was the coolest feeling in the world. Well, until I got “CHEATER” and a bunch of hatemail from this guy. I swear, most of his messages were “shut the fuck up you cheater i had you and you know it you hacking cheater.”
