Also, staying on topic, the amount of people that you can beat with really stupid stuff is amazing. I beat a guy earlier almost perfect with non stop headbutt spam.

There a lot of people out there who play SSF4 online without really making an active effort to read up on stuff so they get frustrated and message you stupid stuff because they don’t know that SF is more about tactical play than running in and scrubbing it up with a super offensive style
A few days ago I had a mirror match with a Ken player on ranked. My playstyle was generally a disrespectful sort, flowcharting for the most part until I lost a round or I saw a big punish opportunity. Despite “getting serious” with smarter play and a Shoryuken -> FADC -> U1 later on, I ended up losing by a margin, and was sent something on the lines of “gg u deserved to win with that FADC”. Considering I was playing like a prat most of the game, I found the comment surprisingly kind.
After I got my Hakan bodied by a Bison player, he messaged me if I was gay or a girl. I’m neither and you might wonder why he thought that but then consider my GT and the fact I was using pink. I do love pink though.
Apologies to everyone/anyone I played tonight though, I was using a pad since some weird shit is going down with my stick.
So I was trying to get Seth from D to C rank today. After about 30 or so games I’m still stuck in D because I only won about 5. Regardless, I did manage to beat a fellow D rank Ryu with a surprisingly comfortable 2-0, who proceeded to message me “such a noob”. Short and simple. I made some snarky mundane response back since I felt obliged to react, and that was that.
Beat this 9.9k bp bison and he sent me this message:

Yesterday sodium levels rose.
1st was one against Makoto which I posted already.
2nd was some dude on a mic who said I need skill (again I was using Makoto). I trolled him saying he had no skill either so he should stop whining. He invites me and I win something like 10 in a row. During those games he says something like “see my icon? Yeah you get those after doing the trials, you should do that”. I send him a message “Vs mode > trials”. He says thats a stupid messageg facepalm. After I leave I send him “lol @ your obsession with trials”. He says something, idk what but I told him the majority of them are useless. He sends me “no they aren’t, just cut out some parts and something”. I send him “thus, they are useless”. “You probably just can’t do them.” I sned “I can do them in game, I don’t need a title or icon”. idk what his reply was.
3rd was from Guile. He sends me “cheap grabs”. I send “cheap doesn’t exist”. He sends “It is when you did those 6 grabs in a row”. Back story on that: I used Tortilla 6 times and OSing lk guac to get him if he jumped back. He then messages me “care2rematch?” I send “you just suck” and joined him. I beat him with Guile vs Guile. Rematch of that, he wins. I use Fuerte, he uses Guile and I win then leave.
