I never bother to respond to any rage mail I get. I feel it’s much more of a mindfuck. Think about it. Dude loses and flies off the handle and fires a rage mail. And then sits there waiting for a response that never comes. From there paranoia possibly sets in. “Did I get reported for harassment?”(especially worrisome if they’re a repeat rager), “Did I get some negative feedback?”(some people do care about that).
More effective than playing their game IMO.

I beat MurckleMan’s Dudley and he sent a voice message in a very salty voice saying “y play the game if ur gna cheat” I asked what I did that was cheating and he told me I kept using yoga fire, that I was sad and a cheater. I didn’t have anything to say other than ha.
So I was going for the rank everyone up to C achievement and I was Hakan…I lost against a really bad player called Rogue Galaxy 'cause I didn’t have a clue what I was doing with Hakan…
He messaged me "lol your good but not good enough your need to out for your opponents sweep 1 and for christ sake tighten u r combos there full of bullet holes just friendly advice from someone who knows k anytime u wanna again bring it lol from a m8"
I replied “Thanks? But I main Dhalsim, I’m just playing around trying to get C rank with all chars.” I didn’t want to be mean 'cause although he was acting as if he was the big smooth daddio of street fighter, the other messages I get are worse…
I challenged him to a match because he seemed to wanna play me…I went to Sim, best of 5…2 perfects then he disconnected before the last round was over…I was laughing my ass off, I asked him why did you go offline…Never got a reply. This guys praying on noobs to try and look cool =(
I beat C STER995 a couple times…then I got matched up with him again and he had set up a 1 round 30 second game and told me “FUCK U TOO” when he won…I didn’t exactly have an intense rivalry with him and I didn’t know who he was until I checked my battle log, people need to chill.
I was just about to beat nagashete when it told me he had disconnected, I checked his profile, he was on dashboard chillin’…I asked him why did he leave…He said “the electricity in my home wbas down sucker…” even though he never actually went offline, only off the game 
All of these goons are on XBL, I’m not the best player and I rage at my arcade stick at times but I think everyone should be smart enough to restrain from sending people salty messages displaying their tantrum.

I must be doing something wrong…I rarely, if ever, get hatemail on PSN(from either my Guile or Hakan). Non the less…this is probably my favorite thread on SRK.

its the second time i get this bloke in a 2 man endless lobby… he has 6k+ PP so i think he must be VERY good.
well i win and then he kicks me from the lobby… so i message him asking politely why did he kick me:
the 1st time he answers (translated into english): “u r a scrub, i feel pity for u, u onlyknow how to fireball and anti air”… well, its called proper zoning
second time he kicks me after only 1 match and sais: “u only use ryu”… how many characters am i supposed to use in 1 match???
anyway, i thought ppl with so many PP would be not only very good, but also could accept losing when someone plays better than them (even if its just for that game)… but i guess these ppl ego gets hurt too much when they lose by someone that only has 3k PP… too bad they think PP mean anything

I know he was mad but I don’t remember the message he sent me, I just remember he sent me one after ragin’ a storm.

That neckbreaker shit is really dumb. Majority of ibuki players will throw that shit out at the beginning of the round like it’s no big deal.
Playing some random Endless lobbies, and come across a Tyrell Badd. He plays rufus, I play dic. He was bad, and I was playing sloppy … he tagged me with some random shit, but I won both rounds. Left the lobby and I get a message … “read my bio, ur in my next vid :3” and I lol’d at the thought of that awful match being online. Check his profile and see this. So yeah, whatever, dude’s a scrub. Intrigued nonetheless, I hit his youtube channel and it’s fucking hilarious. Apparently he spends his time complaining about how anyone who beats him is laggy and/or a lag-switcher, and about how crossups are are a glitch and Capcom should stick to making Phoenix Wright games instead of FG’s.

Sent a message to ZootGirl12 who beat my Seth since I made the mistake to play rushdown against her Dudley. Sent her a gg message complimenting her Cross Counter into Ultra win, but she didn’t respond, and then kicked me the second time I encountered her, so I had to neg her.
Be sure to see my Seth in action at Evo next year bitch, if you’re not too busy trying to be the best online warrior you can be.
So today I was trying to get my Hakan to B online (not there still). Over around 15 matches in, Ive fought one bison, one makoto, and the rest were foot soldiers from the Ken army. After each game I always send a “gg nice character” message, but all the kens were beginning to make me kinda surly.
So I get to one, who is obviously point grinding (1 round, 30 seconds) and was the essence of a flowchart Ken. I beat him with Hakan. I then send him a message that basically said " best of 3+ rounds is better for comebacks. GG, nice Ken." I mostly sent this because I was annoyed, but genuinely wanted to give advice.
To my surprise, he sends me a message back, not raging, but saying “thanks for the advice, I really appreciate it”. Was it genuine? Who knows, but it was nice and put me back in a good mood to fight more kens.

About two days ago I played against this guy named something along the lines of frankthetank360.
I joined his ranked match with a mic on. (I forgot to take it off because I had just been playing in tournament mode.)
Before I took off my mic he put his in and said "Wassup nigga"
I replied “hey"
so we start to play and I pick Sakura because I am just having fun with characters I havent used.” He picks Ken which I am pretty sure was his main.
So the match starts and he immediately starts shit talking to me when he hits me with a combo. (I really suck with Sakura, I’m not the greatest to begin with but Sakura is just not my character.)
Everytime I get countered he yells "look at you makin mistakes dawg!"
He’s beating me from about a 50% life lead most of the match. I than tell him "This is my first time using sakura."
He replies by saing “welll dont use her again cause u suck dude”
So he ends up beating me. Being that I just can’t go down like that to this guy I go find him in ranked on purpose. I find him again and I pick Akuma and he picks Zangief. I end up beating pretty bad with zoning and combos when opportunity knocks. He tells me that was a sucky win. I told him to find a way through my fireballs. After I beat him I find him again. I pick my Zangief, which can hold up most of the time. He picks Sagat and thinks he has the match easy. Sadly he almost perfects me in the first round but I start to figure out his patterns and completely demolish him with about 15 percent of health. The next round I almost perfect him. After that he just stopped shit talking. I than went to find him again just to be an ass and I destroyed his ken with my crappy Boxer.
After that he stopped playing street fighter and started watching movies on Netflix. I was just happy to shut him up.
Wait, I thought Canada didn’t have Netflix?
