I don’t see how that’s not a good character.
But let’s not tier a character in a vacuum (seriously, you can have bandwagoners, dudes need to stop saying this shit), Honda is losing AA lp headbut, taking some bite out of her worst matchup, plus half of the cast is trending down for AE.
AE Sakura’ll be a terror, just wait and see.

Sakura is top10 imo. If not only for the fact that her bad matchups are reduced and she has pretty much 5-5s across the board. I’d take that. 
Again people are getting hung up on tools in a vaccum. MATCHUPS people, matchups.
Dhalsim and Guile aren’t bad matchups?
Except in total you have a losing record to my Abel. Just because you beat my shitty shotos a week into me picking Ryu up and relearning Akuma means absolutely nothing. In SF4 there’s always a chance to losing to inferior players, so even if I’m 90% of winning that’s not enough, I don’t gamble. Plus, I don’t want to see anyone cry. It would make me feel bad about myself

Zangief doesn’t have EX Otoshi to launch himself across the entire screen at once either.
Is Zangief an even matchup for Sakura? What about Blanka?
In Super: both of those matches look bad for Sakura. Not unwinnable, but tough. Gief loosing untech KDs on EX GH and Blanka Balls being nerfed has both of those matches looking a lot better coming AE however. Gief’ll still be tough, but it’ll be a lot easier because of her fireball buff also.
Zangief: I would say is still 6-4, Gief favor. Sak has to lame it out real hard against him. Nerf to EX Hand and U2 being able to stop his knockdown mixups help a little. Reduced recovery on Hadouken will help as well.
Blanka: Nerf to ball, giving Sak a reliable punish in this matchup definitely evens it out imo.
Guile: 5-5 imo. knocked down Guile is nothing to fear. Walk him to corner, otoshi to close distance. Air tatsu/j.HK/j.HP to throw off his anti-air timing. Still a lame matchup to play.
Dhalsim: one stocked meter and it shuts down Dhalsim’s fireball. Even you guess wrong and he didn’t fireball you are in on him. 5-5, or 6-4 at worse. FA-dash at the right moments to get in.
All of these matchups are lame but not unwinnable and requires the Sakura to be very patient.

Pretty much. The only player I’ve ever not wanted to see in my bracket mains Gief, losing knockdown on green hand is a fucking godsend in that matchup.
EDIT: and as for Sim, he can’t just throw limbs out either, just about any button she feels like pushing in the air will beat limbs outright, like all of them.
I’m not even going to bother “fighting” for my opinion since everyone here is so extremely biased that it doesn’t matter what I say anyway since I’m apparently wrong about anything concerning Sakura

I remember a similar discussion being made about Sakura in the tier thread before this one. It basically came down to comparing Sakura to Ryu, and Ryu was said to be superior. But is that the right comparison to make?
Cause ya know, you see saks beatin sims all the time on the reg. Sak fanboys need to realize that other characters do what she does just better.
