SSF4 Sakura Character Specific Combos

Testing Conditions

-All combos are tested on their respective character with full health.
-All combos are tested out of the corner and far enough to not run into the corner mid-combo.

Notes
-I’ll take another pass after this to make sure to point out which ones work on crouch and which work on standing.
-If you see any information on here you feel is incorrect, or know of additional combos that do more dmg or stun please let me know.
-I’m planning to start with non-ultra non-meter combos first then add them after all the characters have been added
-I’ll also omit combos ending in hk.tatsu for now, to be added later.

I know on adon you can j.hp, hp xx lk tatsu, c.hp xx lk tatsu, c.mk. That’s pretty specific, not sure how tight the spacing is. I have a video of ch f.mk, c.hp xx lk tatsu, c.mk [media=youtube]bdvZ0UAV2qc[/media] but not the jump in loop meaty.

You can do a lot of mk xx lk tatsu repeat on fuerte too, I think the most out of any character.

And one last thing, will you be listing the number of hits from hk/ex tatsu on each character in different situations? That would help.

Oh it’s not the CH that’s character specific. If you notice I link c.mk, that’s 5 frames and shouldn’t link.

ugh, the combo variance on crouching vs standing is actually a bigger headache than I imagined. I’m going to finish the top row of characters on crouch first, then checking out whether these work on standing.

I’ll never be able to keep up with all this stuff. Its like studying for an exam or something.

after I get all the information down I’ll try to organize it in a way that’ll make it easier to remember, but ya right now its a bit hairy.

Thanks, just trying to help organize this sub-forum a little. After I’m done with Gen, Dan, and Sakura its onto the 2nd row and after everybody’s done I’ll organize it in alphabetical order. Gen is going to be a pain in the ass testing as I need to test both stances in both stand and crouch T_T

What would really help is if you guys could go through my list and confirm that those are the most dmging combos for the respective character and that they actually work consistently. I know in some cases ending with hk.tatsu does more damage, but I just mean everything that leads up to the SRK/tatsu at the end.

One thing I’d like to confirm with you guys is if this combo works on honda or not, standing or crouching:

Works on like almost everybody else

I can’t get it, and I tried for about 20 minutes. I guess it’s hitting on the second active frame cause Honda always blocks the c.hp. I know some combos fail against honda, such as the generic c.lk, c.lp, c.hp, hk tatsu.

Thanks for checking. He ends up so close it seems bizarre that it wouldn’t hit on the first frame.
