can someone give me a link to a place showing who’s in what pools. in other words, show me the pools!
Hope somebody from the States wins Evo using Guile, the most American of all fighting game characters. That includes Captain America.
If a Guile player wins Evo, this absolutely must be blasted through the speakers:

I haven’t seen 1 Guile in the Evo stream. Where did they go?
Not sure, heard Lamerboi made it out of his pool
finally
Dagger is too good
Guile rushdown ftw!
lets go Dagger G
noooooooooooooooooooooo
Tuned in to the stream during Dagger vs. Justin. Too bad he lost. Wish I were in his shoes. All he really needed to do was hold down back to Flashkick when he did dive kicks and jump fierce for the air-to-airs. Yeah I know, i’m not there so what do I know.
Lamerboi vs. Umehara later on. Wish it were me also, but I do have faith in him.
EDIT: Good luck to Wahrak against Arturo also. Uphill battle, I know how that is.
Came to the stream kind of late, but caught both of Dagger G’s losses.
First, big props to Dagger G for making the long (and expensive) trip from Hawaii to Vegas. I want to do the same, but round trip from Guam is 2 grand
I was extremely hyped for his match against JWong. Always felt like only a great Guile player could give JWong a run for his money, match up wise (Rufus vs. Guile). I think the pressure might of gotten to Dagger, and I can’t blame him. This is the biggest Evo so far, and with thousands of people in the room and hundreds of thousands on the stream, I’d be crazy nervous too. Any good Guile can tell what were nervous mistakes, so I won’t bother mentioning them.
Weird thing I noticed though: Dagger never went for trade FK to U2. It’s kind of a small detail, but I remember he could’ve won at least one or two rounds if he went for the trade. I guess it’s a con to having great execution: you kind of overlook the simpler way of doing stuff. Heck, even during the Abel match (which I firmly believe is a horrible match for Guile), Dagger GOT the trade, but he FADC’ed U2. It was no doubt a bad ass mistake, but it was still a mistake. I get the argument that “trying to trade is way less reliable than having the execution to just make FK hit clean FADC U2,” but there were a couple times in his match where he had meter to cancel, was in situation where hk FK would trade, and didn’t go for it. I know he incorporated a similar tactic in SF4 because one time, he complained about how FK does shitty damage, and he would trade on purpose to tack on an EX SB after.
Another unfortunate thing about Dagger’s run is that he had to play that Abel right after he played JWong. I don’t know about you guys, but after a loss, I kind of need a minute or two to regroup. When I was watching the stream, he lost to JWong, then literally 5 min. after, he had to fight his next match against one of Guile’s bad match ups.
It sucks that he’s out, but he had a good run. Still looking forward to the next time I get to fight him. Hope Dagger kicks ass at the Salty Suite.
Shout outs to Warahk and LAMERBOI!! Looking forward to you guys reppin’ the Guile army in the top 32.
Also, if Lamerboi beats Daigo and Warahk beats JWong, there’s going to be a metric ton of new Guile players

two guiles in top 32…fucking awesome…
I didn’t know evo was this week, so I missed Dagger G’s match with Jwong.
Hopefully will be able to catch lamerbois and warahk’s matches. Really want to see high calibre tournament play and level up whilst doing it.
I kind of felt bad for the pools that were run in the AM. There was literally no place to warm up, no casual stations at all. And unless you didn’t sleep the night before and were playing already nonstop, you were literally playing with cold hands. Around noonish, we took two of the stations and set something up to warm up before the matches. One station was for literally training and warming up (closed station) while the other was best 2/3 casuals. People were literally offering funds in exchange to warm up on the closed station.
Watched Lamerboi beast through his pool.
I only made it up to the 6th round in Loser’s brackets of my pool. I became too tired to even charge right.
Grraah! I friggin hate being in the Navy! Not only can I not even attend EVO, but I can’t even get the stream on this boat!
Props for going out there and doing your thing, Nemesys.
Warahk and LAMER, I’m rooting for you guys! HYPE!!!
We love you LAMERBOI! You did great. Now come back and win it all!
Damn, LAMERBOI letting the nerves get to him. Some really, REALLY crazy decisions he was making there. That jump at the end of the 1st round of game 2 will eat at him for a while. YOU STILL GOT A CHANCE MAN. COME BACK FROM LOSER’S AND TAKE THIS SHIT!!!
WARAHK AND LAMERBOI TOP 2 AT EVO LET’S GO!!!
