SSF4 Gen Combo Thread

PPP j.MK, s.MP, s.MP, s.MK, Hands, FADC, HP, HK Gekiro - 314 Dmg / 416 Stun

STUN should be changed to 461.

Also - KKK j.hk 1X (deep), KKK st.hp | 300/???

??? = 400 stun

Question. Does KKK j.hkx2 PPP st.mp, st.mk~EX-Hands, c.HK whiff on some characters? I can’t hit sweep after EX hands on Ryu at all.

Yep, the hands to sweep character specific. Its the same as in Vanilla (there’s a list around here somewhere for hands into sweep).

So for example, works on Cammy, Boxer, Sim, Rufus, Vega, cr.Sagat
Whiffs on st.Sagat, Ryu, Ken, Gen

to name a few.

Ironic. I posted that after testing it on standing Ryu. It should work on most standing characters and most crouching characters as long as your jump-in is deep.

I’ll test it again on Thursday (2 days away, woot) and then post about it.

Actually, when it came to EX hands in vanilla, it worked on all standing characters and whiffed on a few crouching characters. I think the list you are mentioning about is HP hands->sweep, which is close to obsolete now.

I am talking about HP Hands to sweep. It was understanding that EX-Hands now has the same properties at Vanilla HP hands (just an assumption). I didn’t know EX-Hands, sweep worked on everyone vanilla either, I didn’t use it too often :[

I don’t know if anyone else discovered this Combo, but I found this in Training Mode today. Shakudan (2 Crane Air HK’s) + Crane CLK + LP Jyasen (Rolling Attack) + Crane Super. The Super will work with both the first hit during the Roll, and/or the poke at the end of the LP Jyasen. The Combo with the Super done after the hit during the Roll will do 380 Damage, while the Super done with the Poke at the end will do 408 Damage.

Yep that one is from Vanilla I believe.

i think the super does more damge without the roll attack. even without c.lk it does more.

KKK j.HKx2, c.LK, PPP Super, KKK s.HK - 456 dmg / 410 stun
KKK j.HKx2, s.LP, s.LP, c.LK, PPP Super, KKK s.HK - 411 dmg / 435 stun

that sums up what i said. i think we have allready tested that only oga and any jump in hard attack ONCE is the only way to increase any ultra / super damage.

yea these weren’t meant to be “hey these are new” it was just for comparison so people didn’t have to dig or test to see what the difference was. Figured I’d just do all the work. I had nothing better to do. Plus it was also to compare choices for situational moments so people can get what they need at that time; Damage or Stun.

I’ve been making videos of all of the posted and any new combos I can come up with. I don’t take credit for these even if I do think I came up with them first. Like the Corner combos, but thanks for anyone who posted combos so I could make videos of them. Anyways, these are for people who have trouble reading them or rather see videos.

yep I was going to make that video. it’s really tricky though. I’d rather just do j.HKx2 super after the Oga.

thanks bud. Just makes it easier as you don’t play Gen as much so this way people can just check out my channel that will be updated as combos are found. I still have a bunch of FADC combos to do.
