Nothing new. Teiga speed was stated by 2 ppl + eventhubs, and the rest was stated by 1 guy. There’s no guarantee that they’ll make it to the final version.
Anybody think the crane lights and meds will be chainable/linkable. We could hope for a possible c.c.lp x2,c.mp, roll. That in my opinion could make him so much better.
Perhaps they mean he 1 frames are now 2-3 frame links. Its not currently an issue for me but hey who wouldnt mind the freedom.
If they are changing frames on s.mp then you can do u2 afterwards like makoto.
The faster teiga could mean it combos after oga easier so that would make it more useful.
To be honest, I’m only looking for 4 things: original st.mk range, more meter gain, ex oga, and original mantis jump. I kinda prefer mk hands being cancelable on the 4th hit rather than mk hands combos. And after another look his punishment combos aren’t bad. I don’t care about his ultra 2’s, they’re cheesy moves that aren’t going to get better than his ultra 1’s.
Well, if they’re going to look for fan responses online then maybe they’ll see this: I want the Alpha chains, buffed meter gain (at least something in-line with what other characters can expect), an EX Oga that’s worth something, Air Throw (like he had in SF Alpha), safer Oga, and for Shitenketsu to work like it did in Alpha 3 (or similarly).
I know it says no wishing but if they are going to check for fan responses i’m posting.
-mk to hands combo back. (gens pretty boring to play as without it i find it more fun to play as vanilla gen)
-buffed meter gain
-vanilla st.mk range
-vanilla mantis jump arc
-a good reversal or safe escape option (EX oga)
-Ultra 2 buff (no use for it)
ah man… Gen got the shitty end of the stick… “as usual”. I’ve dedicated sooo much time with the old man and still doing so… capcom give the gen community a bone or something!
I’ve nerver played Gen in A3, so im not really familiar with the chains and what not, but i am a mk >hands user so i would like to see the range, meter building and the mk>hands loop (still keeping the 4hit hands fadc).
More/easier links are extremely welcome, in lack of chains. More ways to combo into Ultras besides Super/Oga/'mantis s.mp xx Crane c.lk" should be priority.
No touching MK Hands I say. I don’t want loops, and I don’t want MK to be such a superior poke. Just make EX hands more comboable.
What he certainly needs as a decent friggin’ reversal/AA. And as long as Super and EX Gekiro is as important as they are, more meter gain is needed.
i hope they give him something with his tools because trying to go for anything is just way to high risk for his bullshit reward he gets. personalty i want to play gen he is fun and if everything goes to plan he can win but most of the time it does not goes to plan against someone good. only other character i know is ibuki but i dont like how she plays in this game. at least she gets reward and have great pressure for her lack of defense. although maybe im just going on like this because im tried, so i might just delete this when i wake up lol.
