I know how you feel, I think it really sucks but I may still buy them, but only after the complete set is released.
I was played Alpha 3 just now and saw Cammy intro with the hooded trench coat. Would be sweet if she got that as a Extra Intro.
costumes are a huge waste of money but I guess if its aesthetically pleasing to someone that plays SF all day it probably is worth the 5 bucks to get a silly costume. Could be worse guys… they could have created console only characters and later released them as dlc while they were already on the disc cough…Soul Calibur…cough.
although I do have to ask… Hajiki… just wondering… but do you know of an instance where there was a mandatory dlc that DID cost money? Cuz I’m pretty sure that would lead to a lawsuit.

No, not that I know of, the only reason paying for the alts doesn’t piss me off quite as bad is because I am a very anti-default kind of person, and also due to the fact that I’ve wasted my money on worse things in the past before.
When a brand new game comes out, esp one that is kinda just an upgrade like SSF4, it is ridiculous that the new costumes don’t come with the game. If the alternate costumes were created AFTER the game had been out for awhile, I would be alllllllllllllllll for them. GTAIV has gotten a few new sagas, they are worth it. They came out after the game had been out for awhile and needed to be refreshed.

A few days ago one of my nephews paid $130 for some custom-made Nike shoes. I think that’s too much money for that particular product so I personally would never pay $130 for a pair of custom-made Nike shoes. And NOT buying those shoes is exactly how I voiced that opinion. The last thing I would do is go to some shoe message board and nag and whine like some bitch on the rag.

They’d be glitchy. 3D cloth that doesn’t break through the character models while they’re moving around is pretty intensive stuff.
I’d like to see Ibuki and Guy with Alt IIs of the many colored MK ninja and ninja girls respectively. With an added bonus of a color 10 “Khamelion” version that randomly changes colors mid-match.

I was so tragically disappointed with the alt costumes in SF4, I absolutely refuse to get my hopes up for super.
At least that way, I’m either right, or pleasantly surprised.
