The only stuff that needs to come with the CE of SSF4 is the following:
1.)SSF4 Snuggie
2.)E.Honda Face Paint Kit
3.)Combo Exhibition and frame data explanation DVD
Yeah…that would rock.

i lol’d at the snuggie
anywho, i agree. The one problem I have with a lot of the Collectors Edition bonuses in games are that they’re one day things. Halo stuff was cool, for instance, but after checking it out, I never looked at it again.
If it is collectors, I want something that I won’t look at once, then never see again (like the Elder Scrolls Oblivion coin)
$5 off Evo would be a bad idea. Most likely the % of people that will attend Evo and are likely to buy a CE is substantial. Whereas the amount of people that are convinced to go by $5 off is most likely very small.
here is what i want in a CE of ssf4:
1- Kick ass Anime movie, with less talky and more fighty, explaining what happened after sf4.
2- Limited edition comic maybe ?
3- Soundtrack ?
4- ah hell just add another anime movie lol (i know it wont happen)
exactly…people don’t avoid Evo cuz of money problems…it’s cuz it’s just too out of their way.
I wouldn’t mind seeing a collection of top matches from various tournaments and shit, for each character.
Maybe some badass posters too
I want to see how Capcom will pull that one out, specially with that contradiction.
eh. i could go on and on about the marketing benefits and interest being generated by such a promotion. i didn’t suggest it as a main selling point of the CE, just an additional bonus that i wouldn’t complain about getting, and i don’t know why anyone else would. money saved is money saved.
I wish EUrope got the same Collector’s edition as USA. We didn’t get no headbands or soundtracks…
wouldn’t it lower the prize amounts at Evo though???
I loved the bluray movie, the figure, and the free costumes. Hopefully they make another CE.
soviet - if i recall correctly, for evo 09 they knocked 20 dollars off your fees for registering before a certain date. if all things remain the same for evo 2010, they could change the savings to 15$ off. that way, if people use the 5$ off, it balances out, nothing changes from last year…if people don’t use it, they are up 5$ dollars on every person who registers. that’s just one simple/basic way to handle that.
 at talking about this like it’s going to happen.
I think that Capcom should take the Tekken 6 route. Get a deal together with Hori (seriously, please not with MadCatz) and package the game with an arcade stick. Tekken 6, as I am sure all of you know, came with the game and a arcade stick for only $149.99. Even with Super Street Fighter IV being a non-standard priced game, I’d pay the same $149.99. The only thing I could ask for beyond that is maybe a DVD with top player tricks and tips as was done with BlazBlue.
I got a head band for pre-ordering and im in Cananda
EDIT:
sorry read that wrong i though you were from the usa and was saying europe got that stuff my bad
what’s a dustwasher? god im such a scrub
it’s one of those little vacuums. the little hand-held ones. you know the ones.
Whoa I go away for the weekend and this thread comes back to life o.0
And wow, that’s a first.:wasted:
The movie wasn’t THAT bad, IMO, it just didn’t link with the game at all. Is funny to see Cammy VS C.Viper in the game acting like they have never seen each other when they did in the Movie.
Also I thought the special scene of Ryu VS Akuma was part of the movie, but it seems it was just done as an advertisement/announcement thing for Gametrailers. So now we are stuck with that ver of it.
Bah, overall it was “acceptable”, but it was badly done with the conjunction with the game, IMO.
Learning how to shoot fireballs in real life as a collectors edition would REALLY be nice
If you go to tourniments you know why this is quite possibly the best idea this thread has come up with yet.
Forget the movies, forget the clothes, forget anything.
Give us a random scenario figure.
Randomly chosen between:
Ryu + Ken punching each other (or giving each other a brofist)
Guy and Cody in fighting pose back to back
Sagat and Adon locking kicks
Makoto and Ibuki (lol) in some kind of fighting position, with Ibuki preferably in the air and Makoto firmly standing ground
Dudley and Balrog double cross-in.
Whatever else you guys can think of.
Plus the soundtrack, of course.
