Will we ever get a thorough list of all changes from any sort of official source? I’m trying to remember if SSF4 had an exhaustive list of changes published…and I can’t remember if it did, or if it was just a few tid-bits like we got here.
If we will get it, what’s your guess for the time and source?
change list? there is only one source… the community. “DO IT YOURSELF” so we’ll see. but I guess cody won’t be “tweaked” very much, in terms of frame data and hitboxes, so the changes should be very visable.

that jp1 is indeed very usefull, however I doubt that U1 will connect, even as AA, hence u1 ass start up time and range, but maybe in the corner.
nj.hp, s.hp, hk ruffian FADC f.hk, ex ruffian, ex cu comes to my mind. or same with ex zonk. mhhh will be interesting to pay with it, maybe even f.hk, zonk will work in the corner.

No, he will never be able to do that. Cr. short is only +2 on hit and Cr. jab has 4 start up frames, they can’t be linked
no that would never ever ever work; ever.
coruching light kick on block is -1 and on hit +2. so it’s only gonna link as counterhit into another c.lk or c.lp. even then it’s a 1 frame link. but c.lk xx mk ruffian/hp cu is/will be a great OS poke to fish for counter hits.

Well in the Q & A it says that all we see in the dev were all the changes made to cody. What a crock. I hate the focus on other characters than the one i choose. But honestly i really think we should have gotten a few more things. No news is boring. I just disappointed in what happened and i needed to vent.
Dunno it still feels like there’ll be way more changes than they’ve announced considering the amount of changes all the other characters had. Especially considering Cody is low-mid tier at best.

Q: I have some questions about Cody.
- Did his walk speed increase?
- Do his specials have less recovery?
- Has the knife itself been buffed?
also, it has to be assumed that cody’s backdash got the same treatment like the others. (airborne after invincibility frames).

Walk speed buff looks unlikely :mad:
zukuu i hope your right. Im not looking for stuff to make him top tier. Just impatient when other people are getting tons of presents on christmas and we have the possiblity of receiving socks and underwear. I WANT CODY TOYS AND I WANT THEM NOW!!!
And the funny thing of all of this is all of these points are so far away because dlc is not even given a date yet so who knows when its coming out. unless i missed it which is possible. I just figured cody had a stronger following than say gouken or sakura. Im prob just being impatient
tbh, seeing the nerfs for the others I’d be glad to “only” get those buffs and NO nerfs. cody would be even more solid to play, due to the fact that many charater matchups get buffed (to be more precise, “nerfed”) in his favor.
and the backdash buff (which I’M certain he get, like EVERY other character) will definatly help aswell.

I thought only 2 characters werent to begin with. Ken and someone else.
Also the match ups that can be tough for him directly relate to his movement (for me). When someone is pushing you out with limbs or sonic booms it’s like trying to swim up stream, he’s so slow and it’s not like he can jump.

i know what your sayin kelt…but thats just this game…no buff he would get would eliminate bad matchups…every character has them and i think it just comes down to knowing more than one character. christ even mago plays balrog and sagat still. I think you just have to have a main and one solid backup that trumps ur mains bad match ups…plus the stuff that he did get will actually be fun to toy with for a while. and gettin a 3f poke solves alot of problems when u think about it…bison is easier now as is balrog and such. Just gotta figure out how to wake up against the rough ones and keep blockin and techin. HOORAY!
