I’ll say this for Akuma’s new super, its original. I wish they would have came up with something for Sagat besides a suped up tiger shot.
The game speed is Super on the whole is slightly faster. This is likely what is making a few bits and pieces come across as quicker.

Akuma’s new ultra works real well i can think of many situations since i think of different ways to make guaranteed ultras.

[]Teleport Cancel to Ultra meaning Opponent Either has to jump, attack or grab attempt you and if he tries attack or grab its guarenteed ultra including if u do it near the end string of the teleport against some teleport punishing characters, or like zangief lariats within the teleport u finish it with an ultra in tele and boom huge damage.
[]Another way is to miss a tatsu in the air and buffer it so if opponent thinks your linking to a combo you can actually hit them in it.

I wonder if you could combo his new ultra by doing something cancelled into teleport, instantly cancelled into ultra?
Now we’re talking. Though it’d have to be a wicked fast, sf4 shortcut abusing (somehow) sort of a trick if it does work…

If you cancelled the close HP reset(after LK tatsu) into telport you could do the ultra from behind when they land.
Obviously it’s not a guaranteed ultra but it would be a pretty cool trick.
don’t think a light attack would have enough hit stun, but a HP, definitely.

Cuz if the recovery is good it could just be a safe way to back out of a teleport.
Although, if you picked the ultra people would be a hell of a lot more careful trying to punish your telports anyway.
It would be awesome to telport through a fireball and kick them in the face while they’re still recovering.
It’s gonna be pretty hard to deal with this, it would definitely make you be careful with every attack against akuma.

I can see something like this being discovered after the game has been out for a while and then Akuma becomes a god for real. The new ultra may look silly but has just as good of a chance as a demon of connecting from what I’ve seen.
Not if it cant anti air like his demon can, nor if it’s not fast enough to catch ppl in unsafe strings.
You can duck his ultra 2 on reaction and it whiffs completely. You cannot combo into it off any traditional means. The start up takes FOREVER. 100% you cannot combo into it from a cancelled SRK, from a Tatsu or from a cancelled Fireball. I THINK you can combo into it after a Shaku in very specific circumstances, but not in any way which is practical.
