Its just that I refuse all this bullshit. they purposely made Vega like that changing him completely to fit their vision. While purposely making Yun and Yang powerful characters. Then justify that shit by saying it brings the community closer. And then they go nerf Guile, Sagat in other games because they where to strong. I don’t care how fun or good cr.mk is now because footsies are out the window. All the top players said this game is now faster paced with more offense (which it already had, and it didn’t take an expert to know that), and the top tiers are rush down characters with more than enough tools to say fuck your footsies, shitty non reversal defense that would die anyway because we can cross you up fa ggot. The only way this game could be worse is if they made supers and Ultra’s all QCF’s and added parry.
AE Vega is fine , if you’re still bitching 3 months into the game then you need to sort your life out.

My opinion will most likely change when I DO play it, but until then, this is my opinion and I’m sticking to it at the moment.
The fact that CH is nerfed sucks but eh I’ll suck it up. A lot of people who don’t play Vega that I speak to say it was “wah wah unfair/ridiculous/such an easy way to get in.” I don’t agree. But eh, I’m allowed to NOT like a change, but I’ll sit and deal with it. Afterall, Vega’s new cr.MK is definitely something to be played with and makes footsies more fun.
Granted you lose a bit of CH but adaptation says “Learn to play Vega properly if you aren’t already, which if you rely on Cosmic Heel you’re kinda not.”
I played Vega this weekened. he can fuck off. and you can mash cr.mk harder along with cr.mp.

i never was hyped for mvc3, bb has always been gay and i feel the same way you do about AE. i’ve hardly played since NCR. I’m pretty much on hold for SF5 or CVS3. But i’ll see if they do anything to make AE more balanced but if not i’m done.

AE looks a helluva lot better than Super IMO. I don’t even care if AE Vega goes down in the tiers, I’m fairly certain I’ll enjoy AE alot more than SSFIV. Besides, I’ve been playing Sagat as a secondary lately, and I really dig him. Sagat is shaping up to be a beast in AE as far as I can tell. Once I become competent enough with him I may just drop Vega to pocket character status altogether in favor of Sagat as my new main.
