Giving her longer invincibility frames on her EX Soul Spiral, would help her out a bit on wake-up, although not too much, unless you want to waste 2 bars to FADC it. I doubt her Soul Piede will be buffed to how it was in Vanilla. Her normals are fine as it is. Although Seth said that not all the changes in AE are listed on the blog, I don’t think they changed her normals at all.

You guys don’t understand that giving EX Soul Spiral A LOT of invicibility frames would make it like Messiah Kick, and I’m sure we don’t want that.

The spiral idea KazDa imposed was just BAD. It simply is bad, Spiral’s right now are just fine. Just the idea of hitting a 4 frame strong, and converting it into a no-risk 210 damage combo. BLEH.

Rose should have armor every backdash she has.

That would make her wake up less free.

I think they still want people to block in this game. Maybe it’s just me though.

Well since seth said in that interview that what has been posted is not all the changed, so i have faith in capcom after the balance changes from Vanilla Rose to Super Rose.

With hit box, special, normals etc… changes rose could be even better in AE without the U2. Hell for all we know U1 could connect and punish more with certain changes across the character board. I been with her since Vanilla so either way im going down with the ship!

Accept the blowup guys it’s coming. Just be happy you can play a “overpowered” char for a few more months. Remember she got toned for the sake of balance.

Ok it might not have been the greatest idea but it wasn’t like i didnt list other options, and really you make it seem as thought your going to use lk all the time. Im sure all of us switch between lk and hk for at least 80% of our games. Mainly because lk is good for a coulpe of bnb’s and hk for longer bnb’s,possible frame traps and safe pressure. You know as well as i do lk.SSpiral is flawed so what would changing the damage output do to get rid of those flaws? If your not playing someone whose just getting smacked by cr.mpxxSSpiral and you just toss it out regardless of hit or block you going to get punished just like you would now, hell you might wiff the SSpiral right in there face because of lk. short range which leaves you in a worse postion. So its not like the idea wasnt without any kind of balance but i do get what your saying about rose having access to a really big amount of potential damage without alot of effort.

You have the biggest hitbox to cancel fucking cr. mp.

So we can easily make sure that cr. mp connects to confirm lk spiral.

If not, it’s fairly safe, or you can simply do hk spiral, which makes it seem fairly safe.

TOTALLY AGREED. I’m not gonna lie. I’ve got complacent ever since i’ve gotten use to u2. Block? Who does that? Well it’s never to late to learn =/. Start early rose community…

Shadow’s explained it about 3 times since he played AE Rose at the Loketest. Basically Meaties will beat it out, 3frame jabbers will probably beat it (or trade) if they mash during the freeze since you won’t be able to actually do anything right after the freeze.(such as block)

still nothing about actual recovery, but we’re starting to get the idea. they want us to use it while WE are on the offense.

Currently in a Rose to Rose mirror one well-spaced meatie C LK actually take great care of killing off her U2. Perhaps it trades if they block, but they wont be doing much with the trade at that range.
I think the problem with the ultra is more a matter of opponents not understanding how to beat it, than it being overpowered. Still, capcom is always right. Lets enjoy this ultra while we can.
