Amazon had free shipping so you would have only saved $15 from using the code as you still need to pay $15 in tax/shipping.

Actually, I just got an e-mail notice from Amazon regarding a $18 refund, I think will end up paying around $131 for my white SSF4 TE

Yep, pretty much…so people interested I recommend to go ahead and pick it up for $131! mine is 360 version but I doubt this won’t apply for PS3 too.

I’m really starting to hate this preorder business. I want to get the game, but I have no idea what I’m missing out on by ordering at whatever location I want to and we’re almost a month out on the release of the game.

How reliable are Gamestop/Best Buy when it comes to pre-ordering online? Does it arrive on launch day or day(s) after?
Did a bit of research with these guys and in addition to the guy on the front page who had his card details cloned, apparently a few others have had problems with this site such as getting items late, wrong items altogether and overall bad customer service when something goes wrong:
I’ve personally never shopped with these guys so just putting this out there so people make informed decisions. Caveat emptor. Personally, I’ll be spending the extra 3-4 from Amazon to make sure that I get the right item and use the shop return trick in case I don’t get it on release date.
At the time people started to accuse shopto.net of fraud there was a lot of mastercards being compromised, 100,000 in Germany alone for example which had nothing to do with shopto.net. I also found that after purchasing Tekken6 from shopto.net I was a victim of credit card fraud. My bank informed me that there was no way to tell who had been using the card but there was a general security breach and they would be replacing my card. That said, I recieved Tekken6 3 days before release date, so I was pleased with that.

Since the PS3 is Region Free, all versions are compatible.
I’m not sure if the Japanese version has an English setting option though. Can anyone confirm whether SF4 Japanese version has an English language text option? If so, then Super SF4 will probably have it too.
