“SSF4 is being released on April 27 in the US, so wouldn’t you be able
to send me a copy via fedex by the 28th or 29th?
do you know if the japanese version supports english text in game?”
It may take about a week for us to receive the stock from the US after the
official release date. Therefore, it may not be possible for us to ship on
28 or 29.
There is no information on the language for the Japanese version
currently.
If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
If the game is japanese and the PS3 system is American, the settings will be default by the region of your console. So the options will be english as well as the character names. Even if you switch the language to japanese, you’ll still get the english names of Dictator Bison, Claw Vega, Boxer Balrog, and Akuma.
The Super SF4 version is the TE S which has a slimmer design and improved lock button feature. Other than that it’s pretty much identical to the older TE’s.
Kim, That’s not entirely true, If you set the lenguage of your American PS3 / 360 to Japanese, your game (even if its a US disc) reverts completly to the Japanese version, which includes Dictator being Vega, Boxer being M.Bison and so on…
is there any info about a special edition, or limited edition release? i just remember all the retailers fussing about that kind of thing and i think seth said something about trying to do a special edition though the capcom store? i dont think ive heard anything of it since
Good question, Street Fighter IV took 1 year from its release date for it to be available as a direct download from Xbox Live’s Games on Demand service. Hopefully SUPER SF4 will follow suit in the same manner if not sooner.
