If you order online are you “most likely” to get the game on release day or is it for sure going to be late? I want to order from best buy or amazon to get the costume pack but I don’t kniw if I’m willing to wait. If I don’t get it on release day lol.
Amazon now offers Release-Date Delivery for $5.98 so you WILL get it on release day for sure.
And if you have Amazon Prime, release day shipping is free.
You can also get amazon prime for free for newer members but, it’s only for a month after that it’s $79 for a year. So just remember to close the trial within a month. That’s what I’m doing.
lol me too, perfect ocasion to make use of that free month trial and I since I want no thumb thingys from Gamestop…
Anyone know if there will be regional differences? eg. If I buy the US version will EU DLC work on it?
thought id mention, the shopto fightsticks are back up for pre order, and the links are now in the OP so check it out!
Ideally I want the Dojo Edition but I’m in UK so I’m deciding between the Blanka or Dhalsim t-shirts I use Sim a lot and prefer him but the Blanka shirts cooler =(
Beautiful amazon.
Whoa awesome! Amazon FTW!
Isn’t that only for Amazon Prime members?
Release-Date Delivery is available for everyone. It costs $5.98 normally.
Is Capcom Store Release-Date Delivery or is that a big no?
Oh, nice.
Pre-ordered Asia version. Will confirm if it’s region free or not.
Pre-ordered through Amazon, though I already pre-ordered with GameStop, but I’ll just cancel that:
Amazon:
Game: $39.99 (360)
Tax: nil (depending on state, of course)
Same-day Shipping: $5.98
$10 Credit for Future Game Purchase: -$10.00
Free Costume Pack: -$4.00 (if prices are the same as Vanilla’s packs)
Total Price: $31.97
GameStop:
Game: $39.99
Tax: $2.24 (5.6% sales)
Gas: $1.00 (lol rough estimate)
Thumb-Fighters: $Jack.Shit
Total Price: $43.23
$11.26 cheaper and I don’t have to leave my house? Yes please!
And ReyArt, question for you: I saw in your original post you are an affiliate of Amazon… do your connections with them have anything to do with the crazy good pre-order bonuses they’re giving? Maybe I’ve been under a rock but I’ve never seen any other games getting this kind of treatment, especially a “bargain priced” title like Super. If so, please stay affiliated with them so that future fighters from them can boast similarly seductive bonuses! If not… well, still stay affiliated - your service to the community is greatly appreciated!
Also, you should totally get me a job.
You made the right choice Gandara ($$$ SAVED)! Thank you for your kind comments and for doing the math to show everyone the true savings and there’s still time left to get in on this pre-order! =D
Only 5.6% sales tax where you live? It’s 10% sales tax here in IL! xD
Me being an affiliate doesn’t have any influence on the current offers & bonuses but Amazon is REALLY good about price/deal matching to all their competitors (they seem to be always on top of it). So if you ever find a better deal on an item somewhere after ordering from Amazon, call them up and they will most likely match the price/offer!
A smart shopper is an informed shopper! I’m always being pro-active in helping people save money because it gives them one less excuse to complain about having no money.
After SSF4 is released, I’ll definitely do my best to keep this thread updated on the best SSF4 & FightStick deals. We need to get this game into the hands of as many video gamers as possible!
I forgot to mention I also purchased one of the 360 TE Round 1 FightSticks from Amazon, also due to your seemingly limitless ability to find deals, for $100 (typically $150 for those bad boys). In essence, you’ve already saved me $61.26. I believe this means I owe you my firstborn now.
Keep up the good work!
Nice! I totally paid $150 + tax for my first Round 1 TE way back when it first came out (it still works perfectly).
Use that money towards the rest of the costume packs! ;D
Anyone find any place in Canada that is offering the costume packs ?
